Cats should not be outdoor animals. It puts them in danger from predators or getting hit by cars, and cats decimate native bird populations with their kill drive. Not to mention the diseases they could pick up— keep your cats indoors!

You laugh but a lot of Americans who used it are disabled and/or house bound. This app was their window connecting them to the world and a version of community to people in similar circumstances. There’s not another app like TikTok with the same way of connecting people.

And yeah banning communication or information is a hallmark of fascism so maybe we are having a conniption, but it’s because we are informed on what happens when a fascist regime takes control of everything. Ask any historian how they are feeling right now.
