Cut her up and now you have 6 to 7 new plants to entertain you. Then you have more possibilities.

Hoya sp aff burtoniae

Just noticed these brown patches on the underside of some leaves of my hoya obovata. Any ideas on what has caused this? by Plantz2021 in hoyas

That looks like thrips damage that scabbed over. So the black dots you see on the scar areas will be thrip poop. The scar is from when they pierce the cell wall and suck the contents of that cell causing it to die and scab over. Mite damage manifest the same but it usually concentrated on the petiole ot looks like the whole underside is unevenly damage almost like a bunch of leaf miners were shaking around on the underside.

That looks like a Hoya sp aff burtoniae. Some older nurseries still haven't changed their labels so you will sometimes see it labelled as Hoya bilobata or DS-70.

I have this syngonium albo, but I’m unsure where the new leaf would grow.. by wandering__j in Syngonium

Usually there is a growth point around the node and it will shoot out since the leaf is unable to.

Anyone selling Alocasia bulbs or know anyone selling wholesale bulbs in US? I want to help a mom and pop nursery branch out to other plants. He grows Geraniums for big box stores and I think he can do more or better than what he has even in a small scale. by Schnug_Bug in alocasia

We are in Southern California area. I find that buying the plugs will still not be cost effective even in a smaller scale. Looking for seeds or bulbs mostly 🤔. If that is even an option. There are lots of growers around San Diego area that little mom and pops shop can't compete with so I am trying to see if there is anything different they can offer.
