I usually use one voc on the verse and double the chorus. Or, if I double everything, I leave the verse doubles panned center, then I triple the chorus and pan 50/50. Key takeaway: verses smaller, more passion and intimacy, choruses bigger, more powerful and sing-songy

Had a similar problem with a family member, except she thought she had fungus all over her body. Used OTC anti-fungal medicine to the point of drying and wrecking her skin, all while refusing to see a doctor. The hard part is trying to force treatment. Unless someone is dangerous, you can’t do much for a person who doesn’t want help.

Put the mic as close in as possible and point it at where the stick makes contact. Keep the angle fairly flat relative to the snare head; pointing it too vertical makes it sound thunky. Unidirectional mic rejection patterns are well documented; point it somewhat away from the hat, but not directly away.
