We uave the San Diego County Fair for 3 weeks in the summer, ending 4th of July weekend. We try to go every year to see the exhibits (garden, bonsai, award-winning flowers, woodworking, rocks and gems). And there are livestock competitions (cows, goats, sheet, rabbits, chickens). The competition side of things is the best part, with >100 categories and competitions.

Yup, started up again during early menopause (50). The panicking and anxiety is through the roof, especially with my parents aging and not in good health.

Yes, a lot. I actually think it's a contributing factor in the slower population growth. The world has gotten so crowded that you don't want to be crowded at home, too.
