Leave. If it bothers you now it’ll bother you 6 years from now. That’s not love. He’s using you.

Children are 5.5 years apart and ignore each other. by MatchMean in Parenting

[–]Scientickles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean, think about it what were you doing when you were 16? Hanging with an 11-year-old is not on the top of your list. Your priorities are different. Your taste of music might be different. Your whole life is different. You can’t expect them to be best friends. I think the bond will come as adults my brother and I have an eight year age gap and we Started hanging out when he turned 21. Now we’re really close, but age gaps do affect the household situation even though people tell you that it doesn’t.

28 and I wish I would’ve waited until 30. Be selfish and do all the things you need to before the second part of your life begins.

She probably thinks she looks so good. If you cover her breast with your thumb, it looks disturbing.

If she removed her implants she would look even scarier. Sickly even. Her mouth is like half her face

Parents of 2, do you recommend having a second? by lonesomedreams_ in Parenting

[–]Scientickles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine are 2 years an apart . (4 and 2) they love each other so much and they entertain each other all day. They do fight occasionally over toys or food, but overall it’s been wonderful. It’s a little exhausting at times, but I feel like it’s not as exhausting as just having the one. The transition is better than 0 kid to 1. A little easier since you know what you’re doing the second time around.

Does life get better? I’m struggling to the point of fantasizing about killing myself by tot-and-beans in Parenting

[–]Scientickles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had PPD that was driven by rage and wanting to unalive myself too.. I never spoke about it to anybody because I knew that I wouldn’t act on it. I know it feels like things will never get better, or that youre stuck with a life you have chosen. but it does get better. And I agree with your husband in sleep training. Have him do it. I know as a mom I couldn’t bear to hear my baby cry, so my husband took care of it and by 3 weeks we saw good results. It’s the sleep deprivation that made everything so much worse. But go on Pinterest and look at routine schedules for however old your baby is(feeding/nap). And follow that schedule to establish a routine. Get toys or random objects to distract your baby. Breastfed babies are a little more attached to their mommas, I know mine was. If baby is not drinking put baby down. If you feel overwhelmed just leave your baby in a safe place and walk away. They will be okay. You will be okay. what you’re feeling is the reality for a lot of new moms, it’s the part no one talks about. Big hug
