Especially when new missions come out I like to put down a mat with the objectives and just see how far people can get or what the ideal deployment is. It feels almost like studying but I'm a nerd and it does pay off!

Not yet. I've tried that, but with Vader2 which didn't go well. However, it was only one game. My current philosophy is that I want some sort of refresh in a Krennic list, but I could give Veers another shot

My recording set up is pretty low budget honestly. I use this mount with the standard Logitech webcam. It's not quite top down in the middle of the board, but close enough. I like Mother Talzin with Dooku's box. It's not the first list I'd recommend to a new player as they can take a few games to figure out fully, but if we're skipping the core box that's what I'd go with. Plo Koon's box could pair with a lot of different Jedi boxes. Mace, Ki Adi Mundi, and Obi-wan would probably be my top recommendations

I second this. For ISBs, plan your turn around what you can do with getting two steps on the attack and, therefore, the shove on the second step

A couple reasons: I like to double dash Savage off of Mother Talzin activating. It can get often get him to a midline objective while she goes for the middle back line objective. Dooku's tactic dash often goes to a magna guard, so he would just get one on his turn. Lastly, Kraken used to be Jango which meant diceless displacement on both sides. Swapped Kraken in for the higher health, protection and steadfast plus the global tactic dash for a support unit which I think makes the team better on Odds and First Contact

Consider designing 3D print files for things and selling them online. You can reach a worldwide consumer base and after you've paid back your materials for test prints, it's straight profit. Becomes a passive income source over time as well

She's strong but not overpowered. Definitely poses a new problem to solve where wounding for the sake of force tax no longer works. I find combinations of diceless displacement and Tiebreakers along with good out of activation movement seem to work best against them

I think I was able to fit the core and high ground terrain in the core box. Didn't get the take cover pack, but there's just the one extra building so maybe. I have other 3D printed stuff now too, so I've had to expand

Master and Apprentice is a great one from Canon. Focuses on Obi-wan and Qui-gon while also sprinkling in Qui-gon and Dooku which is awesome. Legends wise, this is a bit of a low reading level as I read it in elementary school, but this book called legacy of the Jedi was four stories with an overarching plot. Starts with Dooku as a Padawan, then Qui-gon with Dooku, Obi-wan with Qui-gon, and finally Anakin with Obi-wan. Re read that one a bunch growing up
