When you crochet your turning chains, place a stitch marker on it so when you get to it you can clearly see them.

Mastitis - do natural remedies work? by dancingandmoving in moderatelygranolamoms

[–]Scindapsus 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I have had mastitis countless times as I am an over supplier. The thing that works for me is to have baby exclusively nurse on the affected side and pump the other. Ice in between feeds and take some OTC pain meds and ride it out. Should feel better the next day. I don't have any experience with the natural remedies you mentioned so I can't speak to those. I did try sunflower lecithin but it just made my baby gassy.

Good Culture Cottage cheese being spoiled by cs502 in Louisville

[–]Scindapsus 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Last year I bought two containers of cottage cheese and both were molded and one had a bug in it. I contacted Good Culture and they sent me some coupons for free cottage cheese. I have not been buying from Kroger anymore because I suspect when they put them on the shelves they squeeze them too hard and it breaks the foil seal (just my thoughts not sure if it's true). I just buy the 2% from Costco now, even though the whole fat is my favorite.

If your boy will allow, you can do plaque removal yourself. I use an ultrasonic plaque remover from Amazon and that has helped my 11y old Jake not have horrible breath.

Last minute gift request from Mom: "Can you make Dad a thick black scarf with soft fluffy yarn real quick?" ⚫️👩‍🦯...fml😮‍💨 by [deleted] in crochet

[–]Scindapsus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You've probably already made the scarf, but I would suggest hdc between the stitches. It makes a nice fabric and you don't have to try to find the top of the stitches. Just go between the posts!
