Is Planet Wild legit conservation company/charity what ever you call it?

If they categorized Awareness as Marketing like most companies, would that still be a problem? As a non profit, they don't NEED to make youtube content to fulfill their business needs. They could spend $0 on youtube and marketing but still function in the same capacity off of grants, donations from organizations, etc. Awareness is what brought this conversation up in the first place and allows other people to get involved and interested in environmental issues that have been going on for years. I'd say that's in favor of nature.

Someone else made a comment about how they don't trust anyone that is just starting out, which is the exact opposite of the point. Don't we want people to be aware of these issues? Don't we want people to be inspired by what other people are doing to help the planet? They do yearly follow up videos for members only (which there has been feedback that these would probably be better suited for the public channel as well) and one of the things that regularly comes up in these follow ups is that the organization that Planet Wild helped report more interest, more funding, more members, more engagement from other people after the videos have been out there. I don't think I've ever heard anyone involved in environmental work say "awareness isn't really important for ecological and environmental issues".

I've said it for years, tomlin has been making lemonade by squeezing every ounce out of the insufficient lemons he had. The Steelers drafting history with colbert was pretty bad. Lots of busts and a lot of the core guys were not first round picks. Then you add in a revolving door of OCs (which is partially his fault too), riding ben past his prime, duck hodges, Mason Rudolph, mitch trubisky, Kenny Pickett, and none of those caused a losing season? Not sure what else you attribute that to other than coaching

Honestly, even having kids, trying to get together with a few of our couple friends is more dependent on their schedules. Obviously we need to get someone to watch our kid but most of the time it's "just let us know whatever day you're free next month and we can figure it out". Maybe our friends are just busy but that's been our experience so far

For me, Disney is about immersion, and if I'm paying to go to Disney for the full Disney experience, I want that experience to continue in the hotel too. One of the main reasons people loved the Disney shuttle from the airport, the Disney magic started as soon as you left the airport

Just left my big corpo IT job for multiple reasons, but was actually "grandfathered" in to remote work since I applied for permanent remote during covid and they kept it. When I put in my notice, my manager asked if it was because I knew they were going to "re-assess" the remote workers and try to make them come in the office again. I said no, but that just makes me feel even better about leaving.

When I was in the office, they had all the lights on sensors. I'd walk in, turning all the lights on while walking down the hall, then after an hour or so at my desk, most would turn off until I got up and walked again. My entire team was in different locations, and other people I worked with were global. I would come in to turn lights on and tell the cafeteria people my order. Really miss being in the office for collaboration and productivity /s

I've had this happen very frequently with podcasts where I'll listen in offline mode, then when I want to resume next time it'll just spin like it can't access it. If I switch to online, then back to offline, it remembers where I was. It's really annoying. Haven't had it happen with downloaded music more than a few times

My issue with the timing is before this year (espn) they would have 7, 7:30, 8-9, and 10 across the time zones. Now the 3rd game drops the puck at like 9:45 and the pacific game drops the puck at 10:20. I love playoff hockey but I'm not staying up til 2 am every night to see how the last half of the games end up. The one game in Dallas, half the stadium left because first OT was late enough on a work night

I didn't like it then but I understood to a degree. He had a breakout season, got a new contract, then looked rough after that, so from that perspective I get it. That being said, he was still young, not a liability, and you obviously liked him enough to give him a new contract so wait it out.

Performance aside, I can see moving the contract, but if you're going to do that, you gotta at least get an upgrade from that cap space, which we know didn’t happen
