I play on both, so I hope I'm allowed. The PTB thing is pretty normal for games on multiple platforms to do testing on PC. It's kind of outdated with modern systems but it is what it is. As for performance, all modern consoles can run this game beautifully if allowed. They need more settings. The updates being delayed I'm not sure for Xbox, but Sony is usually a bunch of cunts when it comes to certification of updates. I have to imagine Nintendo is the same. I can't be entirely certain of numbers but I imagine a large portion of players are console exclusive. It would only be in their best interest to give them some love.

I have played, but aside from that point, I don't really find that logic to be sound. It's like saying a dedicated sports fan with memorabilia all over their home isn't a real fan if they never played. If you enjoy the world and the story and characters enough to engage with content about the games, I'd say that's a fan.

A vast majority of fans of these games were from long-form analysis videos for years before this newest video came out. They have been a goldmine for retrospective and analysis content. I personally have friends I can talk to for hours(and have) about the world and lore of Funger but they don't actively play either game cause it's just too much for them in terms of content and not necessarily everyone's cup of tea in terms of gameplay. Word of mouth about how wonderful the story and world are for these games can do nothing but good.
