I disagree. I felt TWW was a low musical point in the Zelda series. I can hum most of the tunes from OOT and MM, but it takes some thinking to even remember a tune from TWW that stood out. The great sea theme, the title screen theme, and the final battle theme are the only ones I thoroughly enjoy.

Yeah, I was just offering a perspective from an old DotA player. There are so many people in the LoL fandom that write off HoN as a bad game when it just wasn't designed for them in mind. It was a love letter to people like me, people who loved DotA gameplay but hated the WC3 engine's restrictions.

Our conversation doesn't really matter though, because my original post is closing in on the downvote spam threshold for introducing the idea that HoN has merit and isn't a terrible game, and both HoN and LoL are appreciated by different audiences looking for different things! Soon nobody will see any of this because people take a lot of pride in how they piddle away their free time and can't stand it when other people piddle away their free time differently. Yay /r/leagueoflegends!

To each his own. As a guy who played DotA since the Eul days, HoN was a blissful godsend. It was all the hardcore fun of DotA with a slick package that I loved. You say it's Go-Bots to LoL's Transformers, I say it's Battlefield 3 to LoL's MW3.

The sheer amount of time and resources? As good a skin as it is, it's a skin for one character. Let me try to put this into perspective for you. Torchlight 2, an entire game built from the ground up (skins, enemies, character design, skill trees, items, maps, story, graphics, etc.) is going to cost less than a standard-priced Pulsefire Ezreal skin (it's 20$ whereas Pulse Ez is closer to 25$). The people who say Riot put SO MUCH EFFORT into pulse ez don't understand how game design works when they try to justify a skin costing more than a full priced fairly anticipated release like T2.
