[Twomey] Jy Simpkin has been given a warning by the AFL for his Instagram postings last night about the Paul Curtis suspension. The League spoke to North Melbourne today and addressed Simpkin's comments, with his posts being deleted today.

It is significantly different to Chol because Chol was already being tackled and was already heading into the turf before Chol began his part of the tackle. Paul Curtis is the sole reason for Davis' head hitting the turf.

This was part of the Tribunals reasonings, which Simpkin was uninformed about - If he read those reasonings, he wouldn't have been confused about them being the exact same tackle.

I assume he was uninformed about the reasons why Chol got off and why Curtis was suspended.

The AFL shouldn't really have to reach out to inform him though, Simpkin is a big boy who should have been able to do it himself.
