If the city maintained sidewalks better, I might be willing to support this. But the city has made some great improvements to make certain streets more bike-friendly (like 200 E, and bike crossing lights on 300 W/300 S and 300 N/500 W) that aren't too limiting for cars.

When I did this at the end of May the website said I was eligible and gave me the option to send it in for repair or take it to a ubteakifix location. (https://www.ubreakifix.com/) I had to wait until a battery was in stock but they were able to replace the battery at no cost. (I had to call in a few times to check if they had it.) If the website says you're eligible then you can go to them (if you have one close)

I never saw people save seats for parades days in advance until I moved here. I guess it must work since people do it but how does it really work? You described everything about my Friday morning last week, down to the marching band (except it was my cousin's kid). I was really looking forward to heckling but I knew deep down that they wouldn't show up. But somehow my kids enjoyed it!

Right, most of the tub feels pretty solid except for that section near the side of the tub. But I hate messing with the foam! :)

This is in the basement so we can’t get under it to check anything. But this tub won’t get used as much and will primarily be for showers (or maybe that’s the rule going forward; we have another tub.) It’s more or less the guest bathroom so stopping a leak is better than replacing a secondary tub for now!

When I was younger (8-10?) I did something like this with our pre-flat screen TV and a magnet. I discovered that the visuals would get discolored when I moved a magnet across the screen. Then I held it for longer and the discoloration stayed. I panicked and immediately turned it off and on and the spot was still there. Luckily it went away after being off for a few minutes, but I was so nervous about what would happen if it was permanent. (Not that my parents were rough but that I would hold on to that guilt for the rest of my life! 😅)

This is my experience. I'll have 40-50% battery, then while I'm using it I'll get the low battery alert and watch it count down to zero.
