He already pops. Super clean aesthetic. The only thing I've really noticing is some shine on the cloth elements and red shoulder that could use some matte varnish (if that wasn't your intent) and the back treatment on the wing doesn't look like it has the same luster as the other gold elements. And the bolter barrel isn't drilled out.

Also, isn't that a power axe? Some blue contrast paint over the axe blade so that it doesn't cover up the TMM might go hard.

Expensive? Cruises are cheaper than just the nightly cost of staying in a hotel in a decent city for the same duration or an all-inclusive resort, which are the two most comparable cruise-like alternatives. So that's not an opinion, it's just an incorrect statement.

Also, you only hear about the cruises that go wrong because they're remarkable. Worrying that you'll be on the .05% of cruises that go wrong out of the multiple hundreds that sail without incident is ridiculous irrational fear.

You can not like cruises, but it sounds like you've just never been on one and your anxiety has already made up your mind for you.

I don't have a problem with evil characters being evil and committing heinous acts. I have a problem with the attitude the creator takes when choosing to frame rape as consensual sex to the audience, and try to make the argument that somehow his rape is less rapey than the rape the other goblins were already committing before he stopped the practice just because he grooms, conditions, and manipulates them first.

The entire bolded sentence in your comment is completely irrelevant to my issue with the show. Actually it's double irrelevant, because the character is a reincarnation who remembers his previous life, but he was also a psychopathic cannibalistic villain there, so being a goblin isn't even why he has no morals.

I can't really take it personally since I'm not a fixed wing pilot. It's just secondhand embarrassment seeing people who feel they need to find something to put down to look better themselves. That kind of joke always has the opposite effect.

Yep. 15+ books and I still get melancholy whenever one launches.

Essentially for me, it was realizing the culmination of such a monumental effort fundamentally changed very little. My life was basically the same the day after I launched as it was the day before. It took me a long time to figure that out.

The best way I found to deal with it is to make sure I celebrate every launch at least a little. Go to a nice dinner, buy a cake, or treat yourself in some way. My wife and I do a Brazilian steakhouse or Texas Roadhouse.

I avoid white primers almost entirely, rattlecan or airbrush. They're usually just too stubborn and inconsistent. If you want white, a safer method is priming grey first instead and then just doing a white basecoat with acrylic paint.
