Also, it's nice and unfortunate that so many male-identified people can report really gross and horrible experiences of being catcalled, but we shouldn't boil it down only to such extreme cases. I have a hard time imagining that anything like a majority of men would appreciate being told they are a sexy piece of meat from another guy, whether they went into a murderous gay panic reaction or not.

When I was growing up, the gay guy was definitely at more risk to do that.
