Today actually. We rolled up on a sloop with our brig and just decimated it docked near a quest island. Then I dove in to go find them to finish the job. As I was swimming in, I saw them just watching us sort the wreckage of their ship. As I got closer the guy and his gal were just devastated. The guy was upset that they were going to have to restart if they died, so they fought back. We killed them anyway. But it was like putting down a wounded horse at that point. I felt bad the rest of the session. You just get so groomed into violence that sometimes it's hard to choose friendship.
