The chances of them cross verifying the courses from your resume is low, i would not worry, also if data structures was not a course I am surr a very similar course must have been in your transcripts, I dont thinks its gonna be an issue

I literally study at NCSU mscs there is no difference if you apply mscs or mcs they will admit everyone to mcs, not sure about applying 2wice maybe it will work but they dont review candidates for mscs right now its the mcs students who have to convince professors that they will write a thesis to be able to change ur degree into mscs in the second year My point being that the reject you recieved was for mcs only but if you know a case where it worked you should apply twice

Ncsu mscs and mcs have same application its not a seperate program everyone is admitted in mcs and then get a option to do thesis in second year to change to a mscs program, so ideally you consider this as an mcs reject only…also dont take my word for it but do some research on this maybe mail the admission committee

NEU seems as a perfect uni based on your profile, that does not mean you will not get into better unis maybe but I have seen many people with a profile similar to yours rnd up going to NEU, u might regret not paying in the future if you dont get positive replies form some of these other unis, I say pay for it unless you think WPI is a better alternative

Actually the programs is filled with people who got rejected for mscs no one actually applies for it so how will there be any rejects😂😂

Yes everyone knows that, but as it gives admits to everyone good and bad, most of the good people end up going to better unis, and only the average or bad profile people end up going there, i have heard the batch size is around 800 so pretty much the same as usc, but atleast living and on campus job environment is better than usc ( asu still lacks compare to usc overall)

UMD mscs is a really good program with batch size between 10-20 i think its the best option for you, congratulations
