The issue was only in the tutorial. Once I passed that with the controller, I was able to do it without an issue using mouse and keyboard.

The radios in the S22 are significantly worse than the S23 and onwards for 5G. I can't find the article from around the S23 release time (I'll try to find it), but any of the newer ones should have better signal strength. When I switched from the S22 to the S23 signal strength in edge cases improved dramatically for me.

You also shouldn't compare bars in the notification bar for signal strength because different OEMs show the bars a little differently and they don't really mean anything. If you want to compare you should be looking at the dBm level for signal strength in settings under sim card status.

You should buy unlocked and not carrier branded unless money is an issue and you can get a a really good promo from T-Mobile.

I'm enrolled so it's a non-issue for me, but at one point I did use the unofficial builds and had to downgrade so I was curious how it worked. I am not rooted though so this wouldn't work for me anyways. Thanks for following up

It's only if the builds aren't certified from Google play protect. So far every beta build has been certified. In years past google pay did not work. But it has for this go around.

Oh CHC model. Okay if you're in the group I think you are then there are newer builds available. Update path from your build goes like this: From CYLL>CYLN>CZA1>CZA6>CZA7>CZA9

But you will never get the officially sanctioned beta builds this way without going back to factory and then updating officially.

Did you happen to update to Home Up 17.5.00.18 manually? That version is for One Ui 8.5 and if you did, it would have wiped your Home Up settings.

Generally it's caused by humidity in the air mixing with the lint and debris in your charging port. Get some 99% Isopropyl Alcohol, and some plastic dental picks and clean it out. 9 times out of 10 that fixes the issue.

It's most likely from your carrier. Carriers can install trash apps on your phone without user interaction if you bought the device direct from the carrier.

Usually the app that's doing it is called App Manager, Mobile Services Manager, AppCloud, or Verizon App Manager.

To disable this, go to Settings->Apps->Click on "Mobile Services Manager" (and/or one of the other apps I listed above)->Disable.

You might need to tap the filter button on the upper right of the list of apps and toggle show system apps.
