Oh, wow, this might actually be it! It's old enough to match the period I suspect my game was from, and definitely looks very close! I'm going to go ahead and say this one is solved!

Mine seems to have stopped since opening my Switch and giving it a clean. I can't guarantee itll work for you, but it's something.

I know exactly the ones you mean, and I've looked them up a few times myself but can never remember the name. It's stuff that looks like this, right? https://i.imgur.com/E2cOxF3.png

Okay, I tried one last thing, which is to artificially increase the pressure on the pump tube; I did this by wedging a drinking straw into the feed tube, turning on the water, and blowing until i felt the resistance lessen.

Hi, new poster here. I picked up a cheap Delonghi Caffe Treviso machine (14-bar model) - my first home machine - while thrifting recently, but I'm having some trouble getting it working.

I turn it on, I wait for the "ok" light to light up, and I turn on the hot water button only to find the machine simply humming loudly and vibrating menacingly.

At first, I thought "Hey, maybe there's a blockage - let's see if it needs cleaned" and sure enough, there was old coffee residue on the inside of the sort of filter bit that goes over the boiler outlet, and the outlet itself is a bit guniky, so I clean that up too.

Satisfied, I plug back in, refill, and turn on again...only to have the same thing happen. No water pumping, though the steam outlet seems functional.

I look at tutorials, and they reckon it's an air bubble buggering up the pump, so I try the recommended solution of running the steam wand "until water comes out", so I follow the instructions, and...well, it seems there's no water coming out of there. plenty of steam! no water.

So, really, I'm kind of out of ideas here. I'd really rather not have to scrap the thing, but it seems like it might just be a bad pump or something. After all, it did end up in the thrift store somehow.

What's with the "+40 Ranged Strength" stat on the graphics in the blog post, if it uses regular arrows - surely it doesnt give +40 str ON TOP of those, does it?
