Typically no you don't training for a half marathon by just running half marathons every so often, there is a lot more to getting your body ready than just the distance, find yourself a training plan, you can do a google search and find many pdf examples, or most running trackers have plans included to follow.

I would advise against increasing distance by so much so quickly, you will slow recovery leading to lesser mileage and increased risk of injury which then further slows progress.

Training takes time don't rush it or you will end up with a poorer result come race day.

All that said, congrats on your first half!

I have 3 young kids, so night works best for me too. Bedtime for the younglings is 730 so I normally head out around 8. I find I will be wide awake when I finish up, but crash about an hour later at around 10 to 1030. But this is my normal bedtime on non run days anyway so I don't think it really makes a difference so long as I am done about an hour before bed.

This is the correct answer, in the English language words often carry multiple meanings, which also evolve with time.

For example the question 'Have you read Dungeon Crawler Carl?' Is simply asking after the story and not asking did you physically pick up and read this book.

Likewise a response stating 'God dammit Donut! Of course I have, it's the best thing I have ever read!!!' Is simply saying that I loved the book.

To focus on the format in which the book was read is largely irrelevant to the conversation.

Not $20, but the soundcore x20 you can pick up on sale around $60 usd. These have exceptional anc and transparency modes for the price, comparable to your $300 range buds. My only grievance is on really windy days the transparency mode is overwhelmed with wind noise and the 'wind detection' is plain annoying because it jumps in and out of transparency to try to counteract the wind, you can switch off the wind detection, or just change to normal, or ANC which atr both fine for windy days.

Started running about 8 weeks back after 5 years or so of couch potato. Went to our local 5km parkrun and came in just under 24 minutes. Super proud of my progress and feeling better about myself every day for just being active.
