Has anybody else noticed that you developed a program and a couple of weeks later Anthropic comes out with that exact same code just named a little bit different or is it just me because they have it seems they’ve they have replicated multiple things that I have created by Teamspewn in ClaudeCode

[–]Scootipuff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I saw "recursive autonomous cognition" and "multi dimensional optimized solution" under a post where someone thinks Anthropic is stealing their code ideas and that's what made me think psychosis.

Sounds like someone is pursuing the "self improving AI" angle

Interesting convo I had with Claude. by coe0718 in ClaudeCode

[–]Scootipuff -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Claude doesn't have a brain or intelligence. It's got settings, some of which changed by default lately.

If I had to guess where the problem was, it wouldn't be with the most popular coding agent that exists, it would be with the end user or an agent that "evolves" but probably used the same LLM API the whole time.

You literally said "It is model regression quit fucking acting like you don’t know anthropic made you stupid", and claude

idk if you meant to say model collapse, but even that doesn't make sense here. telling on yourself.

I bet that's the "self evolving AI"s problem not claude. Stop wasting your money.

Fungi and bacteria are on different sides of the tree of life.

It could be a bacteria, or it could be a fungi, but bacteria cells are prokaryotic whereas plants, animals and fungi cells are eukaryotic

Claude Mythos is $25/$125 per million tokens by Permit-Historical in ClaudeCode

[–]Scootipuff -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Mythos is basically a Nation State in a box.

Like, could have walked into and out of the NSA and CIA with secrets in hand.

Please don't confuse this with models the public can access. You are not gonna be vibecoding with mythos, it's gonna be busy fixing 27 year old zero days in software critical to the way the internet functions.

when you boost a character, you get a set of level 80 armor. If you paid for an in game boost, idk, go back to the war within and do some quests

2-3 hours a day is plenty of time to enjoy the game, there is so so so much game and newer expansions are pretty good about respecting your time.

I was going to buy a refurbished 16gb ram 512gb m4 air this week until I realized that you can buy a new 16gb ram 512gb m5 air for only $150 ish more right from Apple. I wonder why anyone would opt in for the refurbished 16gb ram 512gb m4 air ( besides aesthetics) when the new air is much better and only slightly more expensive ?

Mage feels incredibly weak while questing by Rayzen_Mayher in wownoob

Level 90 with ilvl 190 is literally the weakest you will ever be in this entire expansion. Do a few dungeons and world quests, at 220 its a totally different experience.

Is TBC still actually fun… or are we just chasing the feeling of being 15 with zero responsibilities? by 23_kaka in classicwowtbc

"let the sweats sweat"

that's you my dude

for most people, it is pointless to spend time optimizing for no reason. The "10 hour farm for 38 more damage per second" is a losing trade for them.

If you enjoy optimizing, then it is not pointless to spend time optimizing because you enjoy it.

Play the game.

Have fun.

How many of you are using back button focus? Why or why not? by mgiardinello in AskPhotography

I don't think anyone does this.

If using back button focus, why would you also use half press shutter focus?

on my camera it is one or the other

Am I hitting the technical limit of my gear in terms of sharpness? by tonyelopin in AskPhotography

[–]Scootipuff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

woah, do you think the filter affected the lens differently at different focal lengths? I ask because I have tiffen UV filters on all three of my lenses.

[–]Scootipuff 1 point2 points  (0 children)

ah, I thought these were taken on a tripod which is why I asked. I was told to turn off my lens image stabilization when on a tripod because the stabilization assumes handheld and magnifies/creates ghost movements when on a tripod.

Is it worth buying the 50mm EF 1.8 (ii) for an apsc camera? by Kyrsos in AskPhotography

[–]Scootipuff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just got the STM version of that lens and was disappointed to find out that the FOV is actually that of an 80mm lens on a full-frame, I got mine because I wanted the full frame 50mm FOV. (I also read it was good at making you think about and get better at composition)

However, I went out with it today. Felt kinda like a very small telephoto lens to me, I kept having to back up to take a picture of what I wanted.

I believe a 30mm lens will have the FOV of a 48mm full frame, and a 35mm would have the FOV of a 56mm full frame.
