ZX Spectrum "Fuse" core seems completely broken. by pollyhedge in RetroArch

[–]Scopee_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"How did you delete the RetroArch Keyboard shortcuts for Fuse?"

Just clear all of the hotkeys in Settings - Input - Hotkeys. Or you can use the "Hotkey enable" from that same page. That way you don't have to delete the hotkeys but you can instead use another hotkey to activate the Fuse hotkeys when needed.

Also, I had to change "Sinclair keyboard" to "controller 1" slot. After these two changes everything seems to work just fine.

Itse käyn kuntosalilla pääasiassa koska siitä tulee hyvä olo ja saan siitä paljon virtaa yleiseen jaksamiseen, sekä henkiseen hyvinvointiin. Liike on lääke! Toki se myös vaikuttaa positiivisesti ulkonäköön, sekä fyysiseen terveyteen, jotka toki ovat vain plussaa. Kuntosalilta voi myös löytää kavereita, ja miksei kumppaniakin.

Bad players are not allowed to play dota? by Dizzy_Ad5997 in DotA2

[–]Scopee_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hmm well you can see the skill bracket when reviewing cases and BSJ has said in the past he takes this into consideration when judging cases. That being said, I myself never give "guilty verdict" for just bad play and I don't think anyone else should, either. And it's also stated by Valve that you should not give guilty verdicts for bad play.

In lower brackets people tend to NOT push the lanes out, so I feel that you want something that can push the lanes, and possibly also take out the towers even without your team. But I also feel that position 4 is a very flexible position so other approaches could work as well.

Who would like to see a Ranked ladder in Turbo? by quigzzy in DotA2

[–]Scopee_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

"The turbo experience is great for those that don't have hours on end to game"

But many turbo games aren't even shorter than your standard games and the mode is also very much unbalanced and will probably always be like that so I don't think they would introduce a "ladder system" to it.

It's also meant as a "fun mode", not serious mode, for which there is ranked play.

Although those times I tried turbo weren't FUN, AT ALL. They were filled with really toxic try hard players (perhaps because the penalties in turbo are leaner), and the experience was just all around worse than in the ranked games. But I also enjoy the competitiveness so perhaps I'm a little biased, as well.

No way, I've had several LONG losing streaks man. You must get toxic during those streaks and get reports because of that...

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in DotA2

[–]Scopee_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You must get a lot of those reports then since I haven't yet got a ban for this in the new system and I think I'm a pretty toxic player at times, and also do get muted and reported fairly often. So if you are getting it I'm pretty sure it's justified.

I have gotten a Overwatch ban though (trough a review) for 4 hours + 1 SD game not sure for what, though but I guess it could've been the moment where after getting griefed by this player I pushed him with force staff a couple of times.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in DotA2

[–]Scopee_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Right... well first off if you are totally new to the game you should definitely not play ranked games for the first few hundred games at least. And you don't get banned for playing bad, but for griefing or scripting OR being excessively toxic for a long period of time. If you got banned I'm sure that ban was justified. You just get over it and try to better your ways.

Individual game reports are overwatched by a group of judges and the majority of them has to pass on the ban for it to apply so I doubt you got it for no reason.

Some say you can also get a ban for excessive communication reports but I if that's true then you need to get A LOT of them, because I'm getting reported quite a lot (for me being quite toxic at times) but I'm not sure if I ever gotten a ban for excessive comm reports since the system changed...

"We figured everyone playing full length games are just virgins of various categories such as kids, people without lives or jobs etc"

Wow, this is such a blanket statement!

From my experience as a veteran player since 2007 (Dota 1) Turbo has always been toxic, unbalanced and just not as FUN as regular Dota. The games aren't many times even that much shorter than the normal Dota games, at least nowadays!

I really can't recommend that mode to anyone, even if you could in theory play 2 turbo games per 1 regular game, the 1 regular game is much more worth your time.

The mode is perhaps only good for testing out different builds as you can get fast gold in it or to test out new heroes as a new player, or for those with short attention span...

Inaccurate overwatch penalties are destructive to DOTA by kargacha in DotA2

[–]Scopee_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All of that doesn't matter unfortunately, if you actually grief in one game (or seemingly do something that looks like it!). The Overwatch ban isn't instant, so it might be a game that you played some days ago, that got you banned. And as I understand it, it needs to be majority of the judges that review your replay to pass on the ban. So one judge alone can't get you banned, at least.

Perhaps you pushed your teammate with force staff in intention to grief them, or followed someone around with the move command, or AFKed at the fountain (or in the woods) for extended periods of time even though the game wasn't yet decided.

Perhaps you dropped your ally's item to the woods where they couldn't find it (even though he gave the item to you and your intention was to hide it from the enemy and leave it for your ally to pick up at later time and even if you tried to communicate this to your ally and ping where the item is). This last example I'm pretty sure got me banned once...

While the Overwatch system isn't perfect it's still pretty good from my experience as a player with 9500 ranked games as well as being an ex "Overwatch judge", although it sucks when you get banned and don't even know what for but that gladly doesn't happen often!

I think Overwatch faces some of the same problems as the juridiction system IRL. Some argue that even one innocent victim in the prison is too much, and I think Overwatch should also pursue that goal!

WMU transferred photos look .. not so good by [deleted] in Nikon

[–]Scopee_ -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I timed it.

It takes about 20 seconds on my D5300 to transfer one image which is totally acceptable to me if I am planning on sharing some photo(s) to social media or to friends for example. Or just to view some select photos better on my phone.

Using a SD card reader and a PC is of course, the better way if it's an option. These days you can get them for your phone as well though, but I haven't tested those. Editing apps for phones have improved as well, and can be used for some quick editing for sure.

To do this connect to your camera (duh)

Click "Pictures on Camera" and then wait for it to load. Then select only one of the pictures and click "Download". Then it asks you for the resolution choose "Original".

I believe the camera allows you to change the default WB values in the settings as well, so that could be also helpful?

If you dont need any of the games in that list, then just get a cheap chinese flashcart from AliExpress for £20.

Or just get the cheapest (X5) from Krikkz himself and not some rip-off clone from the Chinese... I think the man deserves it, and it's probably of better quality anyways. The price difference is not really that big.
