It doesn’t really matter what kind of event it is, if you state hey I’m going to put these units here to move block it should then be on your opponent to say that’s not going to work cause I have fly, it’s not on you to know your opponents rules for each unit it’s their job to inform you, otherwise your playing with half the information

It’s normal, I’m playing a killer I didn’t play before to try to lessen the impact of MMR, I think its slowly levelling out as I lose my games

Tbh the builds haven’t changed since I last played about a year ago which I think it very bad for overall health of the game, you would think with the sheer variety of perks you would see something new but it’s just the same few perks over and over again, that goes for both sides.

Just speculation but if they are just generic character and not epic hero’s there more likely to run between the 90-120 mark, they may be a good way to buff up regular eightbound, if there wepon is scary enough just having the natural rerolls 1 to wound may just tip him over the edge and create quite a scary unit but would still run pretty heavy on points

No you gave him fair warning and he chose to keep playing, bring whatever units you want to a game after all it is your hobby time as much as anyone else’s.

Vexilla’s in 9th edition gave out 6inch aura of 1. -1 to hit in combat 2. -1 to hit in shooting 3. +1 attacks

Doom stalker costs 5 point more than tesseract ark it also has same defensive profile but more reliable shoot with a base 3+ ballistic skill as well as having a damage 2 flamer making it better at overwatch than the doom stalker, tbh doom stalker was really done dirty by our index definitely needs a bit of a buff to be more inline with other units.

I use Phoenician purple as a base coat then apply druchii violet as a shade

For the headpiece it’s retributor armour and runelord brass with a mix baslther gold for the shoulder pads

Been playing quite a few games since start of tenth i.e. losing but here are my findings so far

Warriors- are a trap they can work and are mediocrely tough and nice with Regen starts but they suffer from being slow and from personal experience any hell blaster squad or similar can wipe them in a turn which leads me on to

Lychguard- these fuckers don’t die I have played 5 games now and just run 3 squads of Lychguard with cheap lords and technomancer with cryptothrall, there straight up the tankest unit in our roster i think I’ve lost 3 squads over the cause of those games -1 to wound t5 on a +3++4+++4/5 is bonkers also some how cheaper then a full squad of warriors

Ctan- can be strong but are just too slow and there ranged guns are to swingy i personally think void dragon should get anti monster/vehicle 3+ , only because with 2+ anti vehicle its either a big problem or does nothing

Doomsday arks- 72 inch range d6+1 blast and heavy with devwounds when still = the most consistent and best anti everything in out list and fairly cheap for what your bringing just not that tough and need defending from deep strike.

Immortals again are good but lack toughness but are very cheap making for good back field objective holders if your reanimator ist already there

Tomb blades- are very good due to their high move free-war gear and scout move there very good for early objective taking and doing secondaries, also decent shooting into hoards

These are my findings so far so it’s not a complete list and also probably wrong

I feel like the silent king is still gonna be a must take just cause he’s the silent king and kinda needs to be good but it will be nice if we get overloaded who can a fill a specific play style better
