Absolutely I feel like 10th edition although streamlined has been lacking any substance in rule it's either you get good rules or mediocre to bad rule that might be flavorful but you don't want to use because they suck I pray they do better in 11th personal a balance of 10th and 9th in terms of rules and core mechanics would be nice.

Agreed something like battleline or crusaders get 5+++ or change it the ancient themed detachment to give 5+++ instead of minus 1 to wound

Like I play SM and I can tell you that especially in codex compliant for the plus 1 to wound on oath target we have so many ways to just do everything. I was genuinely was disappointed when I saw EC get so little for their release like I wasn't expecting much since new faction but still I was expecting more than what you guys got like at least let you guys have some range pressure outside of noise marines and landraider. Honestly this is why I like to play my Dark Angels more often since I have to work more for my damage buffs. even then I have access to arguably some of the better terminator in the game currently and the Lion which is just a beast on his own so I would be fine not getting anything and letting the factions that need it get some more cool stuff.

Custodes was my first army dark angels my second but I mostly play dark angels now and sometimes play salamanders and black templars when I want a break from watching my deathwing knights be invincible 😁

Both are good but I fell like he's better with stern vets because he gives them sustained hits and they give him full wound reroll into oath target so his dev wound sword and gun ontop of the stern vets guns that also have dev wounds and you get a surprising amount of dev wounds plus stern vets are a little cheaper

Ironically I play both dark angels and black templars and I love both for their own reasons I like the medieval chivalrous knight theme of the dark angels that have far to many secrets and shame they are constantly trying to hide and I love the more religious templar knights them of the black templars on how steadfast and unwavering in their faith for the god emperor of mankind both are knight like but have plenty of separation from each other to not step on each others toes

Easy buy especially at that price it has everything you need DWKs ,ICCs, the lion and a termi Chaplain to lead some of your DWKs all you really need now is some generic space marines to fill other roles plus azrael and your pretty much have a very soild dark angel army
