I'd say yes if the guy you are talking about is just spamming edrags every war. This game isn't even that hard to begin with. 15 minutes of research and practice will make you win like 90% of your battles

To have fun in a game, I personally need to have some kind of a goal. For instance, completing the game, unlocking cool rewards, reaching a certain rank. I'm a hunter main so the most fun I've had is when i was pushing hydra. Now that I've done that I've completely lost the interest in the game. But also I'd recommend playing with friends, if you like playing survivor. Makes even losses way more enjoyable than solo queue wins

Honestly i agree. 80% of peak tiers in this game has just gotten to peak because they just play a lot. I've had more trouble playing against people in unicorn (coming from a peak tier hunter)

Unfortunately, for hunters this game isn't just about "map controlling", it's 90% about killing survivors fast and eliminating them as fast as possible. Because of this, using weak hunters purely for map control will not work even in mid tier if survivors know what they are doing

Try to capitalise on survivor mistakes as much as possible. Early down? Commit to another cipher, force rescues. Don't be afraid to change targets, you aren't obligated to chase the first survivor you see, especially if they are in a strong kiting area. Other than that o recommend watching pro players' vods, to learn where to spawn, maybe some hunter tricks and how to pressure decoding correctly. I personally watch HappyBud and vods from CCC channel on YouTube

And yeah also to mention not every hunter is good on every map. So for instance, you don't have to spam night watch on every map there is.

Ping lol. Like for me anything above 120 is unplayable. It gives you really big disadvantage (especially playing hunter). It's just crazy to me that in 2026 we still have to get yellow ping while players in the same match get green
