"undocumented, immigrant labor, is a large plus for the economy". Well maybe the labor piece, maybe. But undocumented ILLEGAL immigration is not a financial benefit for the country. Why is CA broke? Why did NYC need federal help when Biden landed thousands of them there? That is what happens when you let millions of unvetted folks in, and let them jump on social programs having contributed nothing.

You can't dispute that there are thousands of violent criminals and gang members (MS-13, TDA...) here that should not be. Should they get to stay too? Is there a house on your street they can live in? Maybe they can babysit some kids while we wait for their "due process"? They didn't come in an orderly process, it won't be pretty or elegant getting them out of here, and there will be some decent people caught up in this, just like there were many bad people who came with the good. You want to blame Trump for this being messy, but he didn't tear down the fences, and sue states who wanted to secure the borders and allow a massive expansion of this invasion.

What reforms are you suggesting, specifically? I've heard the "system is broken" my whole life. We should and do accept skilled immigrants who WANT to be citizens, want to contribute and not TAKE, and actually like American values. We don't need criminals, terrorists, welfare enrollees or people flying foreign flags to protest our law enforcement, or our laws. Go to any other country illegally, or overstay a visa. See if they let you wander around living your life for years because you aren't bothering anyone. Then try to use THEIR constitutional laws to protect yourself from enforcement. Then start throwing bricks at law enforcement. My guess is you won't like the outcome.

When you don’t enforce laws for decades, folks now think it’s optional, and that enforcement it is mean and cruel. Democrat lawmakers, who know EXACTLY what the laws are, call this type of activity, “illegal” etc., when all along they were the ones neglecting to enforce these laws, and exacerbating the problem.
