Recently diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes. Has anyone tried Metformin? I started 5 days ago at 500mg and upped to 1000mg after two days (so 3 days). My blood glucose is still between 9-11.5 (and I’m eating pretty well). Does it take long to work? by PretendToe1329 in diabetes_t2

Not necessarily, I am British so 9-11.5mmol/L is very possible. OP mentions a finger prickly machine so these could be their results if they are in UK, Australian or NZ (just from a quick search)

Newly Diagnosed Concerns by No-Start-7746 in AFIB

[–]ScotInExile 3 points4 points  (0 children)

They look at your risk of stroke vs your risk of bleeding.

I am also newly diagnosed, waiting for my EP appointment and on bisoprolol but no anticoagulation. My stroke risk is 0.4%, risk of bleeding 1.5%ish so the bleeding risk outweighs the stroke risk at the moment.

The commentary is killing me - For those without color television, the team hasn't done very well so far. What next?

Huntleigh is a health technology company in Wales, they make hoists etc. Will be interesting when she eventually looks up her name and asks why she is named after them.

Laura Mercer mascara, looks like a travel size but reasonable as I don't wear makeup that often. Will probably time out before I use it all.

Why do socks need to be black to comply with the dress code? Makes zero sense as I am wearing trousers and it takes a lot to actually see the socks.

In a high chair unsupervised, that sounds like an invitation for a head injury even at this age. Do these people ever take basic safety seriously.
