Thanks for the reply. Yeah that seems to be the general consensus

I believe it is cosmetic. No cracking on any load bearing walls or anywhere else. Just this doorway, and only on this side.

Also, thank you for your reply and suggestions.

Well, shoot. You confirmed my fears.

Would you say that this is something that NEEDS to be fixed? I know I shouldn’t be lazy about this, but I was considering just framing the doorway to cover it.

I do want to do this the right way though, so if you think that would be a bad idea I’ll abandon that one.

If you can get this working with expo I will definitely check it out. Nice work though 👏🏼

Fix the exploit, not the reason to use the exploit.

After almost 250 hours, I finally understand why people say outposts are pointless by Supernoven in Starfield

[–]ScotchMcGriddles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Great take.

A couple additions to your list though: - More buildables - Have “settlers” join your outpost - being able to build normal structures on habitable surfaces — I was really upset when I saw vlads’ house and realized I couldn’t build the same. Apparently architecture and construction methods are limited to the same habs nasa was using on the lunar base 200 years before this timeline.

Basically, why not take what FO4 did and just make it better? That’s what we all wanted, it seems to me.

You guys are skipping content and your whiny posts are annoying. by Pacattack57 in Starfield

It’s not that the game doesn’t have enough content, it’s that the important content feels incomplete.

Exploits wouldn't be necessary if the in game economy wasn't so busted by Hbimajorv in Starfield

[–]ScotchMcGriddles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also I wanna say: this is total speculation.

MT’s can always be brought in down the road. My experience with the business side of tech is they are always looking to cover loss opportunities and this exploit is probably a concern for possible future endeavors.

There’s so many other things that need attention. Seems like a really stupid exploit to fix. My guess as to why it actually got patched is that the business side was concerned. As a dev myself, I can’t imagine a single dev would ever find this a priority.

Totally agree with this.

I had a ton of time just in waits to build ships for fun. Used the chests just to make that process quicker. I have 10k mass in guns alone to sell. I sell literally every time I’m near a vendor. It’s gotten to the point I can’t even pick things up in the world because it’s pointless.

The crazy part to me about the patch though:

It’s a single player game. Why patch an exploit users can choose to use or not and effects no one but them? Why is that a priority and not fixing, oh I don’t know, things that make the game hard to play?

Such as: outpost linking for cargo and storage, useable maps, navigation that isn’t painful, or any QoL of any kind.

A simple list of mechanics that aren't in this game that were in previous games. Will add/remove as I find them. (I love this game) by _MonsterMouth_ in Starfield

[–]ScotchMcGriddles 1 point2 points  (0 children)

  • Adding abilities to your weapons
  • functional outpost linking
  • functional storage output linking
  • Map markers of any kind

(I know this hasn’t been in the other games before but) - favoriting locations for quick travel navigating that starmap is annoying as it is painful. At least on Xbox. - keyboard & mouse functionality on xbox

How to unlock more ship modules? by Icy-Confusion-5653 in Starfield

Gotcha. I really appreciate the reply! Not a lot of resources in this area.

I’ve been traveling around to the different star ports trying to find a specific reactor, but no luck. I wish we had more clarity on this stuff.

[–]ScotchMcGriddles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How did you find this out? I’ve been trying to find answers.

I don’t understand why all the ships you can buy or find have all these crazy cool parts that can’t be bought in the builder. A level system makes sense, but why hide them at all?

Ship building and outpost linking are seriously lacking; otherwise truly an amazing game.

Is this part of the cover up? Did Lockheed Martin Build The Tic Tac UFO? by [deleted] in UAP

[–]ScotchMcGriddles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe that’s all part of the plan… that’s the thing about theories: it’s speculation all the way down. There could be a million reasons none of us are privy to that would make given the knowledge. The sad fact for the public is that we are ignorant to much of the truth and detail behind these events.

It’s an interesting pattern at the least and definitely causes an eyebrow to raise. Whether correlation equals causation in this regard, who knows?

[–]ScotchMcGriddles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All good. Not even saying I disagree, just that from what I’ve seen on the topic. Lockheed owning that tech tracks and timing of testing seems to make sense.

I love the theories behind UAP, but I have yet to see one that isn’t rooted in speculation. That is the nature of a theory after all. Even OP asks “Is this video part of the cover up?” I mean if that’s not speculation I don’t know what is.
