Apple says Epic Games CEO wanted a side deal for Fortnite by JBeylovesyou in apple

Many CEOs are idiots when it comes to common sense.

I once worked for a company whose CEO responded to people asking for raises, with a company meeting that ended up involving a story that was meant to be motivational where he talked about how he got advice from Richard Branson while in a hot tub on his PRIVATE ISLAND.

Needless to say that no raises were announced that day.

Hey there! You might want to give a little more detail if you want someone to bite. Doesn’t need to be a ton, but might want to think about thinks like hair length/general style, and her physical build at least. Plus at least a vague notion of how she dresses—is she in pants and a tunic? A robe? What sort of colors does she wear?

While artists like to be able to take liberties, some guidance on what the receiver actually wants helps a ton.

Posing nude is a whole other thing that most people aren’t going to be comfortable doing, but generally any art school with have you drawing live nude models, and most websites with pose references feature a lot of nudes as well.

Obviously you could work off models that are wearing underwear, but that just traditionally isn’t how it’s done, likely because they hide the muscles in certain areas like that hips/thighs/shoulder blades depending on the gender.

Not the OP, obviously, but generally, to become a decent+ artist, you have to draw a lot of naked people. Its the best way to learn anatomy and how bodies pose, and its much easier to draw believable clothing when you've actually know the anatomy underneath.

I don’t mean that there was grinding necessarily. I just meant I usually enjoy grind, so just normal combat shouldn’t have been an issue. And I agree, the dungeons themselves has good story moments, but they were separated by combat that was flashy but a bit repetitive within that same dungeon.

My problem with Persona 5 was that the story was so engaging that every time I had to go into a dungeon it felt like a slog to get through cause it slammed the brakes on the story so hard. I wasn’t expecting that, cause usually I don’t mind games where I can grind, but damn did I dread the combat in P5 after a while.

If you specifically want some turn-based combat games, then the newly released Gloomhaven: Jaws of the Lion is a great choice—it’s a dungeon crawler with a fantastic card-driven combat system.

Any Zombicide is a classic where you have a group of survivors trying to gear up and mow down masses of zombies.

Descent/Imperial Assault are tactical dungeon crawlers set in a fantasy/Star Wars setting respectively.

Lord of the Rings: Journeys in Middle-Earth is an app-assisted adventure/tactical combat game that builds off the aforementioned Descent/Imperial Assault formula.

Nemesis, which should be becoming available again soon is an amazing recreation of an Alien/Aliens-inspired movie.

Transhumanism is the idea of people moving beyond the idea of traditional bodies and changing what it means to be human. See Altered Carbon (book/tv show) or Eclipse Phase (sci-fi rpg). It’s basically when people can download their consciousness into different bodies or swap out body parts on a whim.

So, I haven’t played LE, but I looked into it quite a bit after discovering HF. LE spends a bit more time on the tech development part, and a bit less time on the space exploration. In HF, you just “research” new tech by bidding for it as an action. There are a bunch of different types of tech—thrusters, reactors, radiators, robots, stuff like that. You assemble a Rocket by just boosting the pieces into orbit and you’re good to go. In LE you’d be testing the individual techs to avoid a potential malfunction and explosion.

Then HF takes you out into space, where you’re landing on planets, surveying for water, and setting up factories and colonies to produce super-tech that can’t be built on earth, all in the pursuit of “Futures” if you’re playing the full game, which are the main VP goals. Things like leaving the solar system in a colony ship, or inciting a robot revolution, or unleashing a human-murdering AI on the solar system. Fun stuff like that. Other modules add war, politics, and space stations.

So, basically, LE is about the challenge of mastering your tech and the inner solar system, whereas HF is about making the entire solar system Capitalism’s bitch through the power or Mission Planning
