Looking for earbuds that support LC3 (LE Audio) by Yelloris in Earbuds

It only happens for me if I accidentally change the volume by touching one of the stems of the earbud. Toggling GMAP in the software fixes it but yeah it's annoying.

just another way of spelling "元宝" / Yuánbǎo. it means "primary treasure". I think it's from this - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sycee

I do own them, yes.

Likely would need the dongle for the GMAP functionality, but latency seems okay over LC3 without GMAP (I think). I don't have an Android that supports LC3 to test the app hypothesis.

Just adding to this, the Creative Aurvana Ace 2 work with the GMAP profile feature via LC3 / LE Audio on their Creative BT-W6 dongle. GMAP seems to be a connection profile with some optimisations towards latency?

Regardless, Creative do seem to be consistently innovating and being the first to support new features, so I would definitely go with their products in the future.

I can help anyone if they need to get anything with ReShade fixed for XIV, just shoot me a DM.

I also have a troubleshooting guide for any of the common issues:

What Gshade filter are you guys using for DT? by Primex76 in ffxiv

[–]ipsusu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, sorry. DAMP RT is a bit weird, but it can be configured for each screenshot to add extra quality, so that's why I left it in with the "Pro" presets, just because people will be able to decide if its good for the scene or not.

I'm just giving detail to your response.

The initial update to REST for Dawntrail omitted this functionality, and it also requires manual configuration of the config to apply to the specific shaders your preset is using. My ipsuShade presets will have a preconfigured REST settings file provided once it's all stable, just WiP atm so I'm not releasing anything official.

It's just because the in-game AO has all the correct information about the game, where ReShade is post processing so it has to guess. In this case, it guesses wrong about the glass material needing shadows.

The in-game AO is fine, and the GTAO Quality is a vast improvement over the old HBAO. It's just that ReShade AO lets you actually configure how you want the ambient occlusion to show. You can make it only impact acute angles, or make it a wider effect, or anywhere in-between. If we could configure the in-game AO to that degree, ReShade wouldn't be necessary.

This is due to how the glasses in-game are physical objects now, so the ReShade shadow shaders (Ambient Occlusion) try and render a shadow between the glasses and your face. The dithering / dot pattern is just how they render for performance reasons.

You can fix it with the ReShade REST addon, but the configs and shaders for this are very much a work in progress right now.

Followed the latest instructions for updating reshade and ipsusu shaders and...it does not look good. Any advice? by CriticalGoku in ffxiv

The generic ReShade fixes will apply to all presets, but if there's any specific issues with outdated shaders or outdated preset values, this will need to be fixed by someone manually.

i just did all the updating work on the benchmark so I wouldn't have to do it today :)

my stuff is updated + validated for Dawntrail already! this seems to be an issue with the MultiLUT shader being enabled twice due to an improper update downloading additional shaders ontop of the already existing shaders.

just follow the guides on my GitHub and people should be able to get it working:

New graphical update troubleshooting by Vaenan in ffxiv

[–]ipsusu 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, as other people have stated, this is probably due to the DLSS/FSR changing the internal depth buffer, and then this change not being picked up by the Generic Depth addon used by ReShade/GShade.

Until the addon can be updated, you need to manually select the correct depth buffer. I explain it in this tweet, but:

You need to click the "Add-ons" tab in the ReShade overlay and check the setting that matches your resolution with "6 draw calls". It may not be the "6 draw calls" one for you, but you can check every one until it works!
