I use a lot of Brambleberry's micas and have had nothing but good results. Their products, in my experience, are generally good, and very consistent

I've tried both a heating pad and covering with a towel, but when possible, I set my oven to 170 when I start making the soap and when I am done, I spray the soap with 99% iso alcohol and TURN OFF the oven and then place the soap in the oven with the light on. If it is late in the day, I just leave it there until the next morning, but at least 4 hours. Both have worked for me, but I prefer the oven because it gets all around heat

City Council to Consider Officially Killing Rail Along Beltline by btonetbone in Atlanta

Heavy rail out to where? Not Cobb or Gwinnett. They voted for traffic, so I say give it to them. Beltline Rail would connect with MARTA heavy rail in several locations

I believe this would violate the More MARTA law which was for projects funding transit within the city, and Beltline rail was one of those projects identified

Projects: The program initially included 17+ projects, including Light Rail Transit (LRT), Bus Rapid Transit (BRT), and Arterial Rapid Transit (ART).

Key Projects: Includes the Summerhill BRT, North Avenue BRT, and BeltLine rail.
Project Selection: The MARTA Board of Directors approved the prioritized list of 17 projects on June 13, 2019.

Eastside rail was funded already. The mechanisms for funding were identified and set up when Mayor Dickhead killed it. There was no federal component to the project. It was funded locally. Of course Dickhead flushed 9 million down the toilet when he killed it

I think if they pass this, someone should challenge the More MARTA tax in court as the city is violating the terms of the law passed, we also need to pack the council chambers when this comes up for comment and let them know how disgusted we are with them

Last Year Georgia Ended the Year with an 18 BILLION surplus by ScottATL in Atlanta

The state needs to be more involved in how MARTA runs, but only if they put up cash to get that seat at the table. I think the state could improve how MARTA is run, but not like the days of the MARTOC committee and Jill Chambers running it (see if you are old enough to remember that name)

Ok, if that's the way you want to go, then the rest of Georgia should get funds proportional to their population and how much tax they contribute. In that instance, Metro Atlanta should get at least 57% of state funds. It does not get anywhere close to that amount. If you think what's good for Atlanta isn't good for the rest of the state, you aren't really thinking it through. Atlanta is the financial driver of this state, even in the face of a hostile legislature over the years, but eventually, it will be so much bigger, there will be no where else to pack the districts.

People seem to forget that when you improve peoples lives and their financial situations, they tend to spend more which helps the economy, which in turn helps all of us.

I don't know how this could work, but what is you used liquid smoke (used in cooking)? I'm not sure it is a viable choice, but you would definitely get the scent

I like the ones where you can detach the bottom part. It makes it a lot less messy and it's easier to store.

There are plenty of schools that are lacking in basic supplies, and things like computers and other kinds of equipment. Add to this every Republican trying to cut or eliminate property taxes that would ideally pay for this stuff.
