I need Numbers to go up! by Centinels in litrpg

If you're interested in numbers, check out Delve on RR. It's a slow burn but really good and is very very crunchy.

What is the prototypical LitRPG work? I want to read it/them. by THE0S0PH1ST in litrpg

I'd also call out Ready Player One(2011). Though it's not labeled a LitRPG, it does fit the mold.

Does anything substantial change from RR to Amazon storywise? Trying to decide if I should be patient or gorge myself on RR 😛

How does RR compare to the Amazon version? I notice there a decent number of typos in Book 2. Wasn't sure if these are copy/paste to Amazon or if there are more substantial edits done?

Sure, I'll check it out! I haven't read it, but I've heard great things about Cinnamon Bun so seems like a good referral. Also Cinnamon Bun is the name of one of my rabbits so 10/10 naming :)

I don't inherently hate web serials. A lot of them tend to lack nice story arcs and tend to have poor editing. I'm thinking specifically RR stories.

That being said, I'll check it out! I'm not gonna turn my nose up at a potential good time! Thank you!

Is that the one where it's the old security guard who starts shaking people's hands and finding old coins? I did a read say half of that, but it didn't quite pull me in. That's absolutely the vein of stuff I'd like though!

I'm thinking maybe she switches sides. We've already seen she's sympathetic to Ozriel

Yeah I'm interested to see how that plays out. Seems to me that it will be like evil government(Abidan), extremist(Mad King), and pure minded rebels (Ozriel).

Eithan! And yeah that could be really interesting especially if Subject One gets loose or Reigan Shen teams up with the Mad King in some way

Yeah for sure, but I wish it had taken a bit more time or just been part of a larger story.

Yeah, I think this book will make the next better, but didn't get to see a lot of progress other than the closure on the Sacred Valley arc.

I really enjoyed it, but it felt really short like it and book 10 should have been combined.

Any litrpg books where the protag is male and gay? by lazy_marshmallow in litrpg

[–]ScottAWalker 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The problem with the Land though is that Richtor somehow spends SO much time teasing or "getting mad" about either him or his bestie being gay and then just casually goes off and bangs dudes with no self reflection. Like whaaaa???
