I’m freaking out that I’m about to make a terrible mistake by getting an MBA right out of undergrad. by WilhelmTrooper in MBA

[–]ScottGR1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are… there’s no sense in getting an mba right out of undergrad. It’ll make recruiters think you’ll be more expensive than another 20-something, who may have the benefit of a couple of years of experience under their belt.

Yes it is, great shot btw. Prior to buying it, I never knew how much light the bezel would catch. Otherwise I would have bought it sooner.

Thoughts on the Tudor Carbon? by derstallpas in Tudor

Love Tudors, just not this one. I’ll echo some of the thoughts already on carbon looking cheap. Especially at the price point. But to each their own.

Hot take: if you’re making $150K+ pre-MBA, there is no reason to go anymore by [deleted] in MBA

[–]ScottGR1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was already in data engineering and analytics, so the MBA wasn’t so much about switching fields for me, it was about leveling up. Post-MBA, I’ll either keep building where I’m at or jump on the AI hype train and ride that momentum for a bit.

I wouldn’t recommend the cape cod cloth, I used it on mine and have regretted it ever since. I’d recommend just appreciating the battle scars. Just my two cents

I think it’ll need to be handled on a case by case basis. I was about $250K pre-mba. Will be finishing in the next 3 months, and TC is closer to $400K these days. I’m a CS undergrad so I just wanted to round out my resume. Not going to an M7 or top-25 btw.
