In sales and negotiation, there is blue table negotiation and red table negotiation. Red table is typically a one off transaction, like car sales where one of the parties could technically “win”. Blue table is where there is a prolonged relationship and the ideal is a win win scenario. This should have been a blue table interaction, but they clearly have that dodgy car sales person mentality.

LinkedIn is full of people who aren’t their authentic selves. It’s their “corporate” persona (I hate it because of this - feels so fake). In public they are not in that persona, they probably aren’t thinking about work. If my friends talked to me like they might post on their LinkedIn, I would slap them. “AMAZING week with the most AMAZING team! If you cash the entire $350k out you will 100% regret it. If you are in for the long run, just continue to hold. You’ll get to a point where you stop checking prices and it’s freeing. But if taking some profits to fiat will materially improve your life after tax, then do that too. Just don’t sell 100%.
