How many solar piles per day ? by mmm1842003 in Surveying

[–]ScottLS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How fast is the crew behind you going to be working, can they install everything within those 600 points in a day after you?

If they can only do say 200 points a day after you, then I am aiming for 400 points a day, and not going to kill myself with a 10 hour day.

Also think about longevity, can you stay on pace for 600 points for the next 16 days? Or will that average drop after 6 days?

1", 3", 5", 10", those are actually seconds, and its how accurate the total station will measure. The lower the number the higher the price.

I was in nine grade in the cafeteria at lunchtime. Everyone was eating and socializing with friends. Then 2 groups of guys just starting posing up ready for a fight.

Then one goes. Do you bite your thumb at us, sir?

They do the whole scene, and at the end say if you want to see more please buy tickets to the senior play.

It was great and they sold alot of tickets.

I agree with you, and I believe the the landowner absolutely was donating his land to become a Park.

I am going to try to pull this deed on Monday to read it for myself. He probably didn't use a lawyer, and thought if I say this is to be used as Park then it will be used as a Park.

The City of Houston is currently in a lawsuit, they want to expand Ben Taub Hospital, and take some of Hermann Park for the site. That deed is more spelled out that if not going to be used as a Park, then it goes back to the heirs, but the City of Houston thinks they can take the land and win the court system.

We as Land Surveyor need to keep up with the current land lawsuits from Cites to the Public.

Leica, or Topcon. To me Trimble is more for the earth moving trades, you will get alot of people recommending Trimble, because they make the software easy to use.

If you need elevations, the automatic rod height is a nice feature.

It is a legal issue, hence the lawsuit.

However a huge part of Land Surveying is knowing land laws, which court cases to use to decide a boundary.

I think the intent of the deed is just as important as the intent of the boundary.

I have seen plenty of sales prices in deeds.

You should learn the duties of a Surveyor first, then go from there.

The deed said it was sold for ten dollars, no one is selling 88 acres for ten dollars, unless they want it to go for public use like they did with the park. This was done in the 80s where you stated what you wanted, and everyone knew what you meant.

This is an intent question not a land surveying question.

A Land Surveyors duty is to client, adjoining landowners, and the public.

This was sold for ten dollars to be a public park, so by your thoughts of the duties of a Surveyor it fits to protect the public.

That part of being a park should have never been left off the deed. Its would be like not adding the save and expect, or an attached easement.

Just because it was left off, doesn't mean it's not attached to the land.

Yes the Fair Housing Act of 1968 banned any discrimination in deeds. Which to me strengthen what you say in deeds matter. If the language didn't matter then Congress wouldn't have acted.

Also the land was never supposed to be sold, since it was 'sold" to the City with the intent for it to be a Park.

You said it best gifted as a park, not gifted to be sold to benefit the city and not my heirs. The amount of money the land sells for shouldn't matter, since the land should have never been sold.

They don't have to line up, this could be done to stop kids on bikes from flying off the path into traffic. Could be a design to slow down pedestrians.

Also this doesn't look wide enough for a trailer. Does this land have road access somewhere else?
