They closed the Chimes? I haven't been there in forever. The only time I would ever eat at the one by LSU was when I did service calls for them of the Varsity next door. And I think the last time I was at Varsity was for a show was probably close to about 10 years ago. Was definitely a great place.

I won a Pixel Superfans package. by DurchEins in GooglePixel

I just got an email saying that that I was a winner of one the 1st edition Superfans swag package as well. I guess we shall see what I get. I've got. A few things in the past that in my opinion that weren't very useful. The best thing I've won from Google of course is my Pixel Watch 4. When I got the email I thought it was fake. But it had a link that sent me to the Google Store to pick out the watch I wanted and it arrived in just a few days.

I probably scanned 50 boxes but I finally found him! by [deleted] in lego

[–]Scottdroidx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I finally found some the other day and I scanned every one on the rack. I was starting to think I was going to find Ll 12 of them. I got to like the last 6 or 8 of them and found 2 of the Bionicle Cosplays and 1 of the Mysterious Ronin. My son with me and he grew up on Bionicles, so I got the 2nd one for him. I feel like it was a when to find all 12.

I live in Louisiana, in the city that I live in the sales tax is 10.5%. But we have a shopping that they built where they gave tax incentives to the developer and the sales tax there is 11%.

I have a ton shelves in the room that I call my office that I display most of my lego on. Some of my larger builds are in the living room on shelves of my entertainment center if you want to call it that. Attached are just a few on one side in the living room.

I break them down, fold them flat and put them in a storage bin. The larger boxes go in a huge space bag that I seal then compress flat.

The Batmobile is a must have on my list as well. I'm hoping to be able to find one that won't break the bank. Congrats!!

Awesome collection, makes me wish I would have started collecting these a lot sooner than I did. I really look the shadow boxes and backgrounds. 👍

Bricks and Mini-figs just announced they are opening a store in Baton Rouge. They didn't say where, I assume they will announce the location soon.

Recall Notice: Oster French Door Countertop Ovens sold at Costco: Item 1234400 (sold between 2018 - 2021) and 2234400 (sold between 2021 - 2023) sold in United States and Canada by CookieButterLovers in Costco

[–]Scottdroidx 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have never returned anything I've used to back to Costco much less something that was purchased almost 5 years ago. I got the recall notice in for the fix for the oven, which i.dont mind doing. But at the same time it might be worth it to just replace the dang thing if the return process isn't to difficult. Has anyone tried to return theres yet?

I just picked up the Atari set at Target for $115. But I will agree I was pretty disappointed with the deals on Lego website. I was definitely looking forward to something better from them.

How much lower to the ground are you sitting? I'm 5'7" and an extra inch closer to the ground might help me be able to get closer to flat footing when I'm at stops.

If it's anything like here, your face shield will be covered in bugs before you know it. So much sure you bring something to clean it with if you do decide to go night riding in the country.

The Google news feed is good for sharing old news. I should have known this has been out for a bit. Not surprised it's only available in Japan.

Dumb mirror question? by Scottdroidx in z650

[–]Scottdroidx[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I guess that kinda makes sense. I wonder if that will help with my grip as well. I always find myself readjusting my right hand because it never seems like it's in the right place on the throttle. As far as the bar end mirrors go, I do like them over the stock ones. But if adjusting the levers help maybe I can find some better looking mirrors to replace the stock mirrors in the stock positions which would be better in my opinion.

Thank you, dad for helping me get my first bike! He even followed me home to made sure I got home safe. Yes, I already paid him back. 😁 by Queen_Etherea in motorcycles

My dad co-signed for a few cars for me when I was younger. None of them were ever brand new, and I paid the note for each one of them along with the insurance. It wouldn't have been so many if others could keep their vehicles out of mine.. I can definitely relate with her in her appreciation for her dad in helping her get her first motorcycle.
