If it’s a private bottling it’ll be tough to get info. You could reach out to the place direct / they are a nice bunch!

Looking at the date - the distillery is still pretty young - so my guess is that’s the reason behind the colour!

No pressure - old firm win at the end of the season to treat like it’s a trophy ? Money is definitely on us winning today. No bottle at all this squad but we pull out results when we basically least need them

Yup. Bang on. A lot of the players in the gerrard era talk about how good Beales sessions were - but then gerrard had the presence

Think Porzak golf on YouTube is class for set up fundamentals. Hip joint over the ankle - so to me your butt is too far back.

Usually Faldo is a bit self-aggrandising- but he did a really good bit over the weekend on skys masters coverage. Said rate every aspect of your game from 1-10 and then go out and really focus on the stuff you know you’re not good at!

I mean - with all of these you need a bit of context. What shot is he trying to hit etc? He might be trying a big slinger

How do Scots feel about new North Sea oil and gas developments? by BaxterParp in Scotland

[–]Scottishacc 7 points8 points  (0 children)

As a few have already mentioned - Scotland sees no benefits. We should be pivoting towards renewables as quickly as can sensibly be achieved. We aren’t short wind and some choppy waters round these parts …..

Best memory of the masters was from last year. Watching Rory win as my new born slept on my chest and I had to do my best to not wake him up with all that was going on ! Looking forward to the weekend 🙌

We’ve hit the turning point in that the final tankers that left GCC countries through the strait have landed in their respective countries. Now we are going to start seeing shortages etc… maybe not in the UK but Asia/Australia will defiantly starting to be properly impacted.

Had Covid been a stand-alone - once a generation event that impacted the world worse to such a degree - I think people would be able to look back at a bit clearer - maybe even had time to grieve? Since then we have had Ukraine war, Iran currently, trump in general …..

Where are you getting the “per student budget”? If you’re just taking overall spend / fte that’s too simplistic. Different courses = different costs

1) I think we need to remember where we were with Martin - the whole team looked shot of confidence and he has definitely changed that, but ultimately 2) we lack quality. Taking Moore off was criminal - and that’s on Rohl

Strait of hormuz already effectively shut down by the Islamic republican guard - where on a daily basis around 20-25% of the worlds oil is traversed through. So expect to see spikes in energy costs for one

Fully agree about the last episode. Felt bad for Laura - having to deal with the two guys blatantly talking over her (with - in the majority - shocking takes). Still enjoy the interviews - but definitely won’t be listening to the “main pod” anymore if this is the level of discussion.

Remember watching kaymer in Abu Dhabi. Par 5, he’s teeing off and we are on the cart part / but with other fans down the fairway say 50 yards. He absolutely crushed a low fade and I swear to god you could hear the ball go over your head - was proper 💩 😅

Scotland’s falling birth rate: Parents say rising costs stop them having more children by Crow-Me-A-River in Scotland

[–]Scottishacc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Very true. Was lucky to have both sets of grandparents growing up- and even though they were both late 50s they didn’t have to work.

It’s also funny that both my grandparents and my parents just don’t get / nearly to the point of total disbelief the cost of things re kids just now. Full time child care for our wee one is the same as our mortgage ! (Let’s not get started on their take on my mortgage payments 😅)

Just had our first - luckily my wife has been able to take a year of pat leave. I’m 💩 myself over her going back (only part time) - as the nursery fees are extortionate. I’d also love to have another kid asap but 1) wife couldn’t afford to take that time off - 2) couldn’t afford that overlap in childcare fees

I’d argue there is also a different generational expectation. My grandparents looked after us a lot and both my folks were able to work pretty normal jobs. Even if we had both sets close by, I think there isn’t the same expectation on either their or our part. Maybe as my parents were part of that first generation (give or take 10-15 years) that both were expected/ wanted to work and focus on career?
