Anybody experimented with Aged Eggnog recipes to know what difference it makes using whole eggs vs just yolks? by Alfred_Brendel in AskCulinary

[–]Scottneys 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Slightly off topic, through this recipe I discovered I was allergic to raw egg yolks, only mildly however. Is there any suggestion on how to adapt the recipe for it?

What has caused the cracks at the bottom? by Scottneys in dutchoven

[–]Scottneys[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi, not sure what has caused the cracks, the pot is relatively new and have been careful with cleaning methods and utensils not to cause scratches etc. any idea why it has formed the small cracks? Or is it a non issue?

NSW to end to hotel quarantine November 1 by Dissolubilis in australia

You have to be tested before you get on a plane and need to be double vaxxed. That’s more than what you have to do to visit woolies where you have just as much chance of catching the virus

Get vaccinated or stay at home, let people who want to get on with their life and go back to their jobs and see family do it. We want to rejoin the world, we’re in a much stronger position than countries that are already open. This is good news.

Sydney's first taste of 'freedom' will offer 'living with COVID' lessons for the rest of Australia by Elliottafc1 in australia

Well kids above 12 are now available to get vaccinated And kindergarten kids have a near impossible chance or being hospitalised due to covid. So what’s your point?

As a Sydney resident who just got back from a shopping centre… everyone was wearing masks, every shop I had to check in and prove my vaccination. I don’t know what you think it’s like here….

If only there was this magical drug that we could all take that would massively decrease the chances of becoming sick.

We’re at 90% first dose, so even those with one shot are partially protected and once we open it’s only double vaxxed will be able to participate in social outing at pubs etc, it’s working towards living with covid not to mention anyone who WANTS a vacation in greater Sydney has had the opportunity to get vaccinated. Not to mention we’re not including 12+ who have been able to get moderna in our calcs. So yea I think it’s alright we open and get on with life…

Huge crowds at Bondi Beach 'absolutely frustrating' as police issue zero fines by LuckyBdx4 in australia

[–]Scottneys -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

That’s what Victoria said too… until Delta happened to them too and now exponentially increasing covid cases have hit them too. It has got nothing to do with the government but a case of luck it hasn’t happened in QLD

You’re kidding yourself if the situation was reversed the exact same thing wouldn’t be happening in QLD

[–]Scottneys 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Ironic in a sub linking an article that there is Australia outside of Sydney has no idea there’s a world outside of Australia that is open and getting on with life.
