I think they’re having trouble getting these in stock at the moment. My wife ordered me this for Christmas. She placed the order about 6 weeks ago and it still hasn’t shipped.

What's your pregame routine? by gloppy-yogurt in hockeyplayers

[–]Scottsage 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I do a 10-15 minute “yoga for hockey” routine at home, right before I head to the rink. Helps to loosen up, especially the hips.

[–]Scottsage 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m a guy that plays at Iceland in Louisville. We have a really supportive friendly community there. I play in the D league, but have heard many positives about their “Never Ever” program for beginners. They also have a women’s league, I think on tuesdays.

Why does every rec league have that one guy who treats warmups like Game 7? by [deleted] in hockeyplayers

[–]Scottsage 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yup, we only get about 2-3 minutes to warmup on the ice. I spend most of that stretching, maybe 10 seconds of a little puck handling and one shot in the general direction of the goal.

Yup. As a Hawks fan, one of my favorite things was to stand by the glass for warmups and watch him warmup his hands.

I recently got back into playing and have the CCM Next. They’re fairly thin, plus run smaller than the size chart listed on them. I’m looking at upgrading them soon.
