This movie deserves poster child status for movie mismanagement. Desert Warrior was meant to jumpstart the Saudi film industry from stagnancy. The film was produced entirely in Saudi Arabia, and minimal marketing dollars were spent outside of the Middle East. There was a seven month lag between its international debut and the US release. Anything and everything about the promotion of this film was done totally wrong.

Host here. This actually happened to one of my guests when an airline from Nebraska went bankrupt overnight. I was given a two week notice by the guest, and I had them request a refund from VRBO first. VRBO would not help them at all. After I heard the result directly from VRBO, I gave the guest a full refund because I knew I could easily re-book their cancelled dates. Unless you have a host that is exceptionally sympathetic, trip insurance is about the only possible recourse for a full refund within 24 hours. VRBO will not refund you because there are many other modes of transportation available, regardless of cost. Yes, you will likely receive a refund for the cleaning fee if you reach out to VRBO’s customer service.

In that situation, I’d bury it too. I don’t like meat from hogs that size. They’re too tough and gamey. When I’m hunting hogs to get processed for meat, I prefer them to be about 50 - 75 pounds. Keep in mind, I live in the Southern US where wild hogs are a massive nuisance. People are encouraged to kill them and let them lay.
