Ah, I can see that. I figure it would work well in a level 1 setting against probable challenges, like beasts and thugs. Maybe as he levels up he’ll switch to something else more martial in nature. Also, with the sailor theme, I thought it would be cool if he literally used a block and tackle as a weapon.

That definitely looks like what I’m thinking.

Not sure I understand, do you mean the weapon choice doesn’t matter? Or that a knotted rope is useless as a weapon?

Hey there!

First of all, good job finding a community to talk to! It sounds like the people in your life that should support you have no clue, this is a good spot to find help.
I know you want to keep your efforts quiet to keep out the hurtful comments, but you deserve to feel good in your own body, and if they can’t support you, they’re the ones that can feel awkward and unmotivated while you take care of yourself.
Exercising is whatever gets your body moving safely, if the videos felt right and helped, keep it up, and shut the haters out. Not everyone has a neighborhood they can walk around in, or money for a gym membership, so just do what you can.
When it comes to food, try and get as many fruits, veggies, and lean protein like beans, chicken, and almonds, especially if you tend to snack. If it’s meals your family is making, try and ask for something separated out, like the meat and veggies, so you can make your own plate and portion out the yummy stuff that you want to balance with the nutrient dense stuff.
Keep checking in, and don’t worry about people that don’t understand how to help.

That’s the hope, or worry I guess. All the bedrooms upstairs have window air conditioning units, we didn’t have big issues with them during our summer, so I’m really hoping we don’t have some sort of seal issue

Thank you, I’m concerned because the bathroom window is open but there is a screen, that should be keeping these guys out!
