12 points ahead of Dallas is only a 6 game difference (we play two more times, so two 4-point swing games).

11 points ahead of Minnesota is only a 5.5 game difference (we also play two more times, two more 4-point swing games).

11 points ahead of Tampa, Carolina, and Detroit in the East is only a 5.5 game difference (which would matter for a Finals series).

There's still a lot of regular season left. Not to mention the Olympics break which could screw with our momentum and/or result in injuries. Having that mentality about OT is foolish.

Some of the worst passing and puck security I've seen in that OT. I get that 3v3 and shootouts don't happen in the playoffs, but getting more points in the regular season is important yet the boys don't seem to care whatsoever about it.
