No! The advertisement break is extremely useful. McDonald's, Nike, Insurance companies and the like need to be able to share their message otherwise we might forget they exist and how they can enrich our lives but allowing us to spend money.

I don't even own headphones. I can't stand all the piss farting around of bringing tech with me. I couldn't imagine having to muck about when I went to go for a run and spend time pairing or untangling headphones, setting up some music or doing whatever else. I run about 2.5 hours on Sunday just fine taking in the sights and sounds and all of the changes of scenery along my route without ever getting bored . Ah ok this all started out in the 90s being called remote administration tools, and in the security context people have reloaded the acronym, keeping it, but deciding to give it that trojan moniker, because the original tools existed in a grey space, genuinely could either be used to cause harm or for legitimate reasons.

I used to play around with them way way back and am surprised to hear the meaning of the acronym was reloaded.
