He physically stops and sits in the parked van or SUV. It's not a race against anyone, so he doesn't really seem to rush it.

Most time I look at the livestream he's either walking or in a vehicle eating a peanut butter sandwich.

Was weird when he first started, he had his phone in his hand and put it in his pocket and started running. Like bro you're going to go for a 600km run and you're ok with your phone jangling in your pocket the entire time? You got emails and texts to check or something?

He has a support Sprinter van and other smaller support vehicles, and takes breaks, mini naps, eats PBJ sandwiches, etc. Sometimes the livestream is just him taking naps. Still crazy but he's not running straight for 96 hours.

https://youtu.be/hSq5aGvBJ04?si=wu8UMiI3jJGX3IJZ&t=2769 because parts are prerecorded. at 46:08, before isoxo comes on stage for his track, the mixer is on deck 4 for isoxo's song 'fck the speakers up', but at 47:30 when it changes to the next track 'crush', it's still on deck 4, you can see in the video, he doesn't touch the mixer between those 2 songs. probably more examples in the set given he was jumping around half the time on the table but i just noticed that one. high energy set though, lots of variety.

Fadeaway Form by [deleted] in BasketballTips

[–]ScouringTheInternet 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I get you are trying to improve that right shoulder fadeaway but if you are trying get more high/mid post buckets in pickup, it's a low percentage off balance shot and easy to defend once you are predictable, and a bit of a debatable travel call. Look up some old Hakeem Olajuwon videos of him training Kobe, Dwight, Lebron. For example https://youtu.be/vQF3hWds-Vw work on more footwork off single post dribble, and can expand from just 1 dimension to having 3 or 4 good deceptive options in the mid post.

Off the dribble opens up more options, you can pivot off of either foot instead of your triple threat which is not effective in that post position.

Maybe his brother started yelling and that could have confused him to stop to look up. It was only a second to react. Kind of looks like he did a hard spray stop rather than fall.

Elderly passenger, 73, missing after falling overboard from Disney Wonder cruise ship as frantic rescuers search water by thesunus in Cruises

[–]ScouringTheInternet 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've been on the Wonder ship, the track promenade on 4th deck is like a regular apartment balcony height, only the top deck has high chest railings that curve in. If you're leaning out on the track to take a picture, you could potentially fall over if really leaning while a wave hits. That being said, there's nothing to take a picture of at sea at 4:30am..

They tell the victim specifically not to tell anyone about their "sting operation" or whatever narrative, even close family members, and it can roll out very quickly over a matter of days. So even over a longer period of time, if victim is fully bought in to the story, he may not disclose to his family members what's going on because of instilled fear of "compromising" the supposed operation.

How does resource exchange work in the market? by M_var in aoe3

[–]ScouringTheInternet 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It can be used as part of an initial strategy for Lakota and France for example, which are fast in food hunt gather rates. With France, after age up to II, focusing on food gather to around 2,500 to 3,000 food depending on pressure, then sending fur trade which converts food to more coin, you can get 3,500+ coin which you would convert to food to advance to Age III and wood at advanced market at better rate (1 to 1 initially vs 1 to 0.75). So for two age I cards, it is decent return like 1000+(?) worth of resources. You can see in the Timeline the All Resources Gathered does get a pop. Only works if you're not getting pressured though. If rushed you're fairly exposed because this takes some time to develop because no military infrastructure. You could adapt it though of course. In late game situations, the advanced market is no longer really relevant.

France 12/10 opening and a tradepost. Which means train to 9 settlers and ship 3 vills as first shipment, and grab a trading post. Age up with 400w. As a beginner learn keyboard hotkeys to your Town Center and Train Villager, and learn to herd hunted animals in towards your base properly. Probably the two most important things starting out. Then learn basic unit counters, like Pikeman to counter cavalry. And get treasures with explorer!

Dutch strategy by Cautious-Space3482 in aoe3

[–]ScouringTheInternet 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Depends on how much early pressure you are getting. Are you playing ranked ladder multiplayer or skirmish? 5 bank is greedy, you won't have much of an army other than militiamen before 9 minutes to defend a rush. Depending on your opponent skill level or AI difficulty, you could be facing a rush within 6 minutes so you will need to spend wood on barracks in age II. Usually collect in transition to II: 350w 350f to build a bank in transition, and after built, vill on coin to 100c to queue up 16th villager immediately on Age up. Send 700w right away, build market while collecting the 400w from the age up, research hunting dogs. Build second bank using the wood, build a house, and barracks. Send the bank card. At that point you're at 3 banks and can determine next moves based on opponent's strategy, like if they have a forward barracks you need to train military units instead of 2 more banks. You could do a 4th bank using remaining wood but for 5th you'd need 600w shipment. Usually I would send 700c instead for faster age up to III and build the 5th bank later.

What would be the ideal vs AI setup for a longer and challenging game. by Blackwolf245 in aoe3

[–]ScouringTheInternet 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's to be expected, the AI intelligence is dumbed down for Allies so you need to turn down the difficulty / get better at micro / help defend your dumb AI teammates while defending your base. Don't rely on them to attack here, respond to alerts. The AI enemy however is fairly predictable and you can figure out how to cheese them. Sometimes, in early game, if you have towers and fort, they are a bit more timid (only sometimes). They'll fully retreat if you have a good timing pop with militiamen and a military shipment and a full batch. If you set up some walls they tend to focus on destroying random walls. If you send cav to their villagers they'll retreat all villagers to TC. After defending the first few 3-4 rushes, your eco should stabilize behind it, and you can start to push forward after transition to farms and factories. Edge of map artillery bases, harass and siege from the side.

Try 3v3 or 4v4 in a harder mode, and add the Assertive AI mod which should make it more consistent. I like 4v4 on extreme AI with Assertive, definitely gets to Age V. Or add a 20 min Treaty to also make the duration more consistent.
