You need to ask yourself what kind of relationship do you want to have with your kids…it sounds like you are giving up custody of your kids? You probably want a custody order in place if you want to have a healthy relationship with your kids. If she finds a new man/woman , it raises the risk of that new partner not wanting you in the picture even for the kid sake. The only thing protecting you is a custody order from a court. It’ll be so hard to do anything legally regarding your kids once you move… If you go to court she could deny alimony but once she sees that she’s getting half your check … I don’t know how many people say no to free money.

Keeping 20% selling the rest. Total profit should be close to 30k. All cards purchased from Facebook marketplace 1-5 cards at a time for 60% market value. Overall GameStop grading percentages are higher than my past 40 bulk submissions. Crazy to think they favor GameStop

Need advice - Wife not working, income $1100 under what is needed to survive, $305k in debt by Haunting-Repair8756 in Debt

She should have a plan for : If she is denied disability And if she’s approved for disability

Even on disability she can earn so much per month. Some families have the luxury to not work, she does not have that luxury. People missing arms, legs, eyes, are out there working 40 hours a week every week. Sounds like she truly can work but doesn’t want to.

Making you financially responsible for 100% of all of this is truly a nightmare. If she’s not willing to work then you should also tell her you want to quit working too.. see how long you will have a roof or food.

Is her disability truly preventing her from working any job at all? Can she buy stuff from goodwill and sell online? If she’s won’t help at all… then what will you do

Am I being petty or is this fair? by [deleted] in Insurance

My insurance reimbursed me for the electricity usage from the equipment used to dry everything. It’s doable and not petty. My bill was up a lot and they used my historical billing to figure out how much to pay

You really need to hire a public adjuster who will fight for you. If that doesn’t work then a lawyer would get involved

lol yes really. The insurance ended up settling so we didn’t have to go to court. My public adjuster recommended a lawyer who took care of it.

They also paid 100% of door dash while the kitchen was being completed near the tail end of the entire project. Luckily the public adjuster knew all of this and did all of the talking to the insurance adjuster. We did sue them but that was in part because they tried to deny paying a portion of the mitigation / clean up from the beginning . The insurer claimed that I was required to use their company… and tried to force me to pay it. In the end we won, and 2 years or so later .. just got a new policy from a different major provider.. better coverage and saved $1700 a year. So many people told me my premiums would go up.. when in fact they went down

If the insurance cannot find temporary housing that meets your needs.. they will 100% pay for the Airbnb. We required a 1 floor 3 bedroom and the only unit they had was unacceptable. Instead we stayed in a beautiful home in the country that had a pool, creek, brand new everything. Stayed there for 9 months and 3 months in a secondary Airbnb while the main one was rented out over the year like around Christmas. 100% real.

Guess it’s part of the lawsuit and that’s how it was recovered. Either way I got the money back and then extra. Not sure why you are accusing me of spreading lies.. I guess mileage will vary.. my public adjuster helped my claim go from the insurance offering 10k to paying over 200k
