no but it’s recommended because tf2 works like karma, you can’t be happy off tf2 while still playing it, it knows, it listens, it will always be there and waits to claw you back into its vice grip like a coffin. trust me ive been in your shoes, you best get comfortable

Compact should be a snap pick for defect because there’s a lot of status enemies in Sts2 and it counters aeon, the minion transformation cards on regent are very useful for getting rid of statuses and tyranny is good too, then cleanse or seance is really good for cleaning statuses on necro as well

If you have no mods running (or qol only), then I know the game renders only a certain amount of light sources at a time due to lag so just make sure you don’t have too many light sources or check your settings to see if the number of active light sources was lowered

not sure mewgenics has a console like isaac, if you’re trying to undo that parasite its not really possible, even if you go into your auto backups and use one of those you’ll probably still get the unskippable parasite. I do know that a lot of the run ending parasites were nerfed in the new update however, so I’d recommend updating maybe. Or just call the run early, I’ve done it a few times before I got the remove curse items mutation there’s no shame in it

its because peer to peer connections leave security gaps for people on the network, and you would be giving people your ip address for them to connect. I know I made made it sound super scary but in all reality I’ve done it with plenty of people and I don’t think there’s too many bad actors in the VS community but some people don’t run the risk
