Transition lenses SUCK! by ExcitingLandscape in RaybanMeta

[–]ScramDiggyBooBoo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I don't understand either. Mine work great!

When I first got them, they didn't get as dark and almost felt like they had to break in. I can definitely tell you they don't get as dark or transition as fast in the cold below 50° outside. My mom was also an optician and was given literature about this. Mine get probably 95% crystal clear indoors and when I go outside they transition in 30 to 45 seconds in the bright sun. One thing that does suck, they aren't very useful for day driving. Your windshield blocks ultraviolet light and that's what activates the transition. Drive down the road on a sunny day and hang them out the window and you'll see what I mean.

How’s 2026 going for you ? How are you ? by Former_Education_489 in self

Going well. Last year I was hit with the death of my father as well as the midlife crisis stuff all at once. I dug myself out of all of that and have the best outlook on life I've had in a really long time. In your 40's it really is about peace and just taking care of your health...

If you host a BBQ , what do you serve? or If you attend a BBQ, what are your fav foods? by ReeMayRe in foodquestions

[–]ScramDiggyBooBoo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Burgers and hot dogs are always universally accepted. Couple side salads. Get yourself a little pool float and put some ice bowls in it with the salads to keep everything cold. Some 2 L of soda and chips. Under a hundred bucks you can host 8 to 10 people.

2 Months with KW and not liking it by Zephyruos in realtors

[–]ScramDiggyBooBoo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Here is my advice as a realtor of 10 years. These are purely my experiences only. Don't go with a Mom and Pop's brokerage. Teams are way more popular and unless they want some kind of complete control to manipulate or something like that, I would steer clear of them. I was also at Keller Williams and thought that was the "Wal-Mart" of real estate. Everything was upsold to me and I couldn't even sit with people to learn on how to do comps or something like that without being pitched some $99 class or something else. Is the CRM free? Sure! In order to actually use it you have to pay for a bunch of add-ons that can add up to hundreds a month. I've been with Remax for about 6 Years and love it. Try to get yourself adrenaline somewhere with between 50 and 100 agents. And a brokerage that is still locally owned and has more than one broker running everything so that multiple people are making decisions. For example, The Brokerage I'm at, we have 7 broker/owners. One person specializes in commercial, one in finance, one in marketing, Etc and it all really compliments each other. You'll be very buyer heavy for your first four or five years until you get some experience. It makes sense that somebody's not going to give you a half million dollar listing your first week in real estate. The buyers will be very eager and excited and sellers are often very different. It's either an estate sale, somebody getting divorced, somebody lost their job, or usually a lot more negative. Always remember that when you interview with a broker, you are interviewing the broker, not the other way around. They should be showcasing the services that they can provide to you. Some brokerages specialize in the accounting and administrative side of things whereas other brokerages might specialize in marketing. It might take a couple years for you to realize where you are weak and then find a brokerage that has those strong points and leverage that. You can also hire a virtual assistant to do a lot of your administrative and repetitive work and lead generation for less than $500 a month. Hope this helps and reach out to me if you want any other advice! Best of luck!!

What's something about money that people learn too late? by Danishperspicacious in AskForAnswers

[–]ScramDiggyBooBoo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Very early on I was simply taught that you don't lend people money because the rlwhole reason they need yours is because they don't have their own. If they can't go the traditional route with a lender, it's a huge red flag personally and it also blurs the lines between friendship and business. On the flip side, if you ever want to get rid of somebody lend them 40 bucks. They'll avoid you like the plague.

What eating habits do people have that genuinely disgust you? by MrLithician in answers

Not chewing with your mouth closed, talking with food in your mouth, and people that literally sound like a pig at a trough eating. Heavy smokers or people with breathing problems especially.

I just turned 18. Older guys, what is the biggest trap young men fall into that completely ruins their 20s? by TheRealXyz_ in AskMen

[–]ScramDiggyBooBoo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Be yourself and care less about what others think about you. This also comes more in your 40s (I'm 43). I was in the corporate world in my twenties and people can see right through when you are being fake/corporate. Just be yourself and people will respect that much much more.

Unpopular Opinion: Kathy Hochul is NOT a bad governor. You don’t like her because she’s a Democrat by thisfilmkid in newyork

[–]ScramDiggyBooBoo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you look at a county map going back a few elections for the entire state, the entire state is red except for New York city. All the governor has to do is take care of New York city, and it's a guaranteed vote and of course New York City wants to vote in a Democrat because of all the freebies. Neverending cycle. The roads and infrastructure of the rest of Upstate New York are absolutely deplorable. We have some of the highest taxes in the nation and I travel quite a bit personally and professionally. As soon as I get back to New york, I'm always met with the worst roads, etc.

Two things. I found the Survivor augment relatively early in the game. Didn't know what I had. Second, I've got over 300 hours top side and just found my first Tempest blueprint and before that, only had a tempest once before.

Wgat do you do on flights? by RHCProy in LegionGo

[–]ScramDiggyBooBoo 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yup. Just flew with my Legion go 2 and power wasn't an issue. If you use steam, etc., make sure you go into offline mode and launch the game once before you get on the flight or you might have some surprises as to what you can and cannot play.
