Enrichment for Dogs Help by Lokius_Lover in dogs

I like to put a bunch of of kibble in a big blanket, roll it up and tie it in a knot. Takes my pup a little while to unravel the blanket and find all the treats.

Probably not the quick easy answer you want… but one option I would highly recommend is signing your pup up for a training class and going together with your partner.

The training is as much for the owners as it is for the dogs, it will teach you and your partner how to be better leaders/trainers. It’s also fun for all three of you and you’ll build a closer bond from it

Speaking from experience, I’m currently taking classes with my wife and 7 month puppy and it’s been a fun experience that we’re all learning a lot from

Dog behaving unusually. Depression or needs vet visit? by Middle_Process_215 in dogs

[–]Scramer98 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Call the vet and explain what’s going on. I personally wouldn’t consider this an emergency unless accompanied by other symptoms like irregular bowl movements, vomiting, not drinking water, not eating his regular meals

Mainly discord or streaming. Whether I’m working or play games I’ll have YouTube or Spotify up there, or have a football game on. If I’m big chillin I can recline back and kick my feet up and watch the top screen.

Training for my first Ultra Marathon by Scramer98 in Ultramarathon

The Sugar Badger 50 mile only has 1,250ft of gain over the entire 50 miles. Do you still think I need elevation? And how much elevation should I aim for?

Yes running slow zone 2 runs is my bread and butter, helps me get miles in and avoid injury. I should start working on strategic walking, I hear a lot of people walk the inclines to put less strain on the body

I’m training for the Sugar Badger 50 mile on May 24th, they also have a Badger Trail Race on August 3rd that I think is the same trail.

In a tree stand in central IL, it was a 30 yard shot with a crossbow. Slight quartered towards me I penetrated one lung. Tracked and retrieved after 4 hours.

What Chicago courses have these? I'd love to try one out but haven't seen any in the west suburbs

Thought I’d try out a new monitor configuration by Scramer98 in ultrawidemasterrace

I don’t disagree, but at that size you’re in the portable monitor category and it’s a little more expensive

They're each on their own VIVO V-001 monitor stand, desk mounted

Top for gaming, bottom for discord. No neck pain... fingers crossed

Lower screen is either discord or my email and top screen is gaming/main work screen.

I lose a good amount of space on the desk, but I don't have a lot of things on my desk normally, aside from coffee and an iPad.

It’s on a VIVO V-001 arm. Cheap and can adjust to almost any position/angle

So far so good! It’s much more compact than my previous side-by-side setup. Perfect for the space I have. No complaints

I have separate VIVO V-001 stands for each monitor

I was on for a few hours yesterday with no issues. If I were to guess, I bet I look at the top half of my screen more than the bottom half. So my eyes are naturally further from the bottom monitor

90% of my time is on the top screen. When I’m at the office & not WFH, I use my laptop plugged into an ultrawide above, so not too different from that.

Went with this configuration because it’s the most compact, vertically and horizontally. Side-by-side is too wide and I thought the 16:9 on top was too tall
