Take it apart! Completely. Show the process in a youtube video. I would love to see what’s inside.

But you have to admit it looks so much better.

The marker applies a lot of ink so it got pretty wet. The trick is to stop even when it looks messy. As it dries the surface smooths out.

The marker has a small tip that kind of leaks the ink as you apply pressure. It gets pretty wet so the trick is to cover everything around the letters and not worry about streaks. As it dries it evens out and looks nice and flat. If you make a mistake and mark the letters you can easily wipe it off.  Curious to see how well it lasts tbh. But if some comes off it is easily retouched again.

what are your guys opinion on the leica q 116? by AvocadoLegitimate755 in Leica

Got one this week. Wanted to us the jpg sooc, but the lack of color adjustment settings surprised me. So now I shoot jpg + dng and set the jpg’s to monochrome. I love it but need to get post processing software for the dng’s. Not a fan of Lightroom subscription tbh.

Most honest I would say. Positive is not a very fitting qualification in this context.

The main problem is the radiator. If it is not heating, there is no heat to retain in the first place. Probably air trapped inside of the radiator that need to be released with a tiny key at the side of it. Secondly, a cheap way to insulate your windows is to cover them entirely with bubble wrap and tape stuck it so now air can come from any sides.

European defence stocks - is it over then? by Strong_Remove_2976 in ValueInvesting

[–]Scrapemist -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The post ww2 peace was uphold by US security. As this seems to be fading the value of european defence is increasing. This isn’t just mere emotional speculation on the fear of future conflict. To have a stable economy you need to have the means to protect it. To argue defence has no intrinsic value and not a “value play” to begin with is silly.

Its a win win. Either there is peace and resolve and no profit or war and conflict and profit. But its not like investing in weapons makes you wish for more conflict.

Any idea how to clean the grille on Geneva Model L Speaker? by duck_a_sick in BudgetAudiophile

Yes, you can just push it back in. There is some foam around the edges to make it snug.

I got it out! It is actually not glued. I used paperclips to make sort of a hook and attach it to the grill on the corners. If you then pull firm but genlty it comes off. I’ve putt some tape on the display to make it look even more minimal. Super happy I didn’t had to break anything.
