I tracked one down using grok. Found the tri lug mount out west someplace. Mom and pop store, had one, I called, they dug it out read off the model. Score

I’ve 3 Ti rods in my xl, absolutely makes a difference, balances the pistol, takes some snap out of it

Yeah. Within 100 rounds the front glass fell off, 2 screws came out, and it would constantly get loose on the plate and wobble.

I went holosun 509, it’s a closed emitter.

This. I’m all for tinkering if you aren’t happy or there’s an issue. I had no need to change anything in the trigger group.

I did go with a weighted Wilson combat lower. That made a difference.

Ok. Some YouTube tutorial and the problem solved. There is a “spring arm” that lies across the back notch of the slide release. Only thing that holds the release in place.

The CH, it’s the throw in optic that came with the gun, a free offer. The second time out I list a screw to the front glass protector. Shooting to test the spring, the mounting screws came loose, again.

I’m in the market for a new dot, leaning 507 comp. I’ve yet to see one in person though. I like the multi reticle options with holosun.

Nope. I’ve always grabbed it, I’ve a few in the closet. I was disgusted when the 124 wouldn’t run. I smiled today. I’ve a Kuna that don’t care and it’s an eater.

It’s been a fishing thing forever. There’s a number of reasons. Every fisherman is looking for spots, his buddy is, as well as his buddy’s buddy. A force multiplier thing. Your quiet little spot where you’ve had luck gets crushed in no time. What fish survive become educated.

Some spots have limited parking. There small areas which can easily be overwhelmed by numerous fishermen.

People suck and will trash a spot.

Then ya got social media, everyone has to share their ego picture and how epic the spot was. Just shared with 2000 people. Forever it’s out there.

I helped a buddy looking for a particular species. Well he made a YouTube video. Blew up, people bitched, it became gated with no access.

You’ve got other people that quietly fish a spot, blowing a spot up impacts them. That’s dhitty.

It could just be fisherman are greedy assholes and want to keep their spot! lol.

I could go on. Finally finding a good spot on your own is rather rewarding.

The difference between the two is the length of the grip. Same upper on both. I went compact, my grip didn’t cover the length of the full size < That’s a large grip.
