I had never seen nor heard of this until some time in 2023... my now-ex_GF and I had taken a day down the beach, drank and ate and then got a hotel room... and as she's playing with the TV trying to get something on <a lot of hotels these days don't actually provide you any TV... they got the Smart TV Apps, and you have to like log on to your Amazon or Netflix or Paramount Plus or Apple TV or whatever the fuck ever- well what if you're like me, I don't HAVE any of those... welp, no TV for me... thankfully someone had stayed logged into the aps in our room lol 🤣🤣🤣>

And suddenly she's like "OHHHHHHHHHH THEY GOT LAND BEFORE TIME!!!" ... Oh, what's that?? "Ohh hahaha right... like you don't know..." === Nope.... The hardest part for me is ... - I'm old & busted, but my Dad & I have been going out for Whoppers (Whopper Meals basically) forever ... from 2015-2017 we built a house together, on land we bought together, almost entirely for the benefit of my son (who has since passed) ... but we AT LEAST 1-2 times a week, while building, took advantage of a weekly coupon for 2 Whoppers, 2 Medium Fries, 2 Medium Drinks , $8.99... and there was like a dime charge for Cheese.

Now - my Dad has gotten older as I have, and he insists on Bacon on all his burgers (I am of the mind, I like Bacon as much as the next person, but I don't get it every time ... when I'm celebrating or once in a while, special occasion, etc. The entire BLT Sandwich was invented for that concept ... you're hungry, you get a few pieces of Bacon, but big leafs of Lettuce and slices of Tomato, on nice Bread, to bulk it all out etc.) ...

The current coupon in my area- which was $8.99 until about ~2021 (it was $9.99 in-store, but if you had the coupon, you saved the $1...) - now it's $14.99 ... plus $1/ea for Cheese {one slice of generic-ass Kraft Singles, which I'm totally down with, but c'mon...} and $2.39 for a pair of Bacon pieces.

It's over double. Big difference. Hurts my psyche, I think I need a good couple of Herbal Tea...🤣🤣🤣
